"Amazing staff, great location. But: Was not good value for money, compared to other Vietnam hotels. Very dated hotel, in need of update. A lot of trash around gardens. The food was very average. General style and decor of resort a bit barren and dated. Inadequate English of many staff (other than duty manager who was excellent). When I called ahead, the receptionist spoke inadequate English to guide me to how to get to the hotel. We did a cooking course that was o.k., but again minimal English...

"Best possible location, opposite to the opera, and within walking distance of all things worthwhile seeing in Saigon. Good price-quality relationship. Old hotel property from the 60s, whose rooms have recently been refurbished and updated."
