This traditional style cottage lies in a quiet south hillside location of the Kenmare Bay close to the sea in one of the most appealing landscapes of Ireland - The Ring of Kerry. Off the street and traffic t is located on a beautiful private property of nearly 300sqm with generous distance to the next neighbors. In the surroundings you find shops, pubs, restaurants, numerous historic sites and leisure time activities. Extended picturesque sandy keaches and bays invite you only 2.5 km away from the cottage. Close to the cottage a direct access exists to the Kerry Walking Way ideal for shorter or extended hikes. To the West Cove pier suitable for boating and fishing it is approximately 700 m. Not far away are possibilities for riding, sailing, surfing, deep sea diving, golf, tennis, fishing and much more.

Perfect getaway spot!
Such a relaxing stay at Inga and Jürgen's lovely cottage in Coad. Cosy and snug with beautiful views and a stone's throw from the Kerry Way. Loved it and would definitely return!

Mooie ligging maar auto nodig
Mooi huis, mooi uitzicht maar geen zicht op zee zoals vermeld. Ligt haast op de way of Kerry, mooie omgeving. Afgelegen: supermarkt op 20 km en enkel bereikbaar met auto. Bushalte op 2.5km.

Netter Rückzugsort
Nahe am touristischen Ring of Kerry gelegen, ist dieses nette Haus ein angenehmer Rückzugsort, uneinsehbar, mit einem wunderbaren Frühstücksort, umgeben von Schilfgras und Schafen und dem Blick auf die Bucht 0Bicht!

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Es hat alles was man braucht. Gemütlich ist es auch. Die Lage zum Wandern, an den Strand sind hervorragend. Es hat einfach für uns alles was wir brauchen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke an Fam. Angel.

Wir können das Anwesen uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr schön und war für unser Ziel, einen Reha-Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen, genau die richtige Adresse. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern verlief auf freundlicher Basis über Telefon. Die Wandermöglichkeiten vom Haus aus, waren herrlich und der größere Einkauf in Caherseveen in 30 Minuten auf guten Straßen möglich. Auch das kann man mit einem schönen Ausflug und Wanderungen verbinden. Wir konnten uns auch vorstellen für mehrere Wochen in dem Haus zu bleiben.

Besonderes außergewöhnliches Cottage passend zur Gegend
Wir waren zu viert mit zwei Hunden über Weihnachten und Silvester in diesem wunderbaren, sauberen, liebevoll eingerichteten Cottage. Es liegt sehr ruhig, trotzdem in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Ring of Kerry und in Sichtweite der Atlantik. Es kann schon mal vorkommen das eine paar Schafe zu Besuch in den Garten kommmen, schließlich gibt's die hier überall. Ideal zum Wandern, Rundreisen machen, Strandspaziergänge machen... Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen Urlaub benötigt und ihn erholsam macht. Am Anfang muss man sich erst an die Technik (fast jede Steckdose hat noch einen seperaten Einschalter oder das Prinzip des Heizens) hier gewöhnen und sie verstehen, aber mit Hilfe der umfangreichen Informationen die im Cottage vorhanden sind, kein Problem. Die Vermieter kümmern sich sehr rührend um alles und sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und sprechen deutsch( für alle denen englisch nicht so leicht fällt). Auch die Iren sind immer überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und zu einem Gespräch bereit. Von uns aus unbedingt zu empfehlen. In der Ferienwohnung war alles nötige vorhanden. Die Lage war sehr ruhig. Dchöne Aussicht. Nette Vermieter. Man benötige aber ein Fahrzeug zum einkaufen, Essen gehen etc.

Für Naturliebhaber. Im Herzen des wunderschönen Kerry
Wandern mit wunderschöner Szenerie bei jedem Wetter. Wunderschönes Wasser des Atlantiks mit super Strand. Unterkunft wahnsinnig gemütlich und passt bestens zur Umgebung. Alles vorhanden. Gut gepflegt. Vermieter stehts erreichbar und herzlich.

Séjour d'une semaine
Séjour très agréable d'une semaine dans le Kerry. Hébergement très pratique, propre, confortable. La plage a proximité est un enchantement (mais accessible qu'en voiture). Et au réveil vous savez que vous êtes en Irlande : les moutons sont dans le jardin !

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in dem sehr schönen Cottage verbracht. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und dennoch ist man mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten auf dem Ring of Kerry, um die malerische Umgebung zu erkunden. Auch der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Herzlichen Dank für die wertvollen Tipps.

Ein schönes Haus auf natürlichem Grundstück und in der Nähe des Kerry Way. Man kann wunderbar wandern und hat gleichzeitig die Nähe zum Wasser. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Schlechte Heiz- und Stromversorgung
Da wir im April bei ca. 11° dort waren, waren wir auf Heizung angewiesen. Diese fiel am zweiten Tag aus. Ein Bekannter der Vermieterin stellt fest, dass die Pumpe kaputt oder zu schwach sei. Leider wurde nichts unternommen, so dass wir auf Nachtstromheizung (die allerdings nur bis mittags 16.00 Uhr heizte und nicht regelbar war) und Radiatoren, die über Tagesstrom liefen, angewiesen waren. 2 dieser Radiatoren, die in den Zimmern fest installiert waren, waren leider ab dem 6. Tag defekt. Zudem qualmte der Warmwasserboiler schon am 4. Tag, so dass unsere 5-"köpfige Familie in einem Bad duschen musste. Wir informierten den Vermieter nicht mehr, da wir nicht nochmal auf Leute warten und dafür im Haus hätten ausharren müssen. Dafür war der Urlaub zu kurz. Bei der Endabrechnung mussten wir horrende Stromkosten nachzahlen. Am letzten Tag die Vermieterin auf alles angesprochen, kamen leider nur Ausreden. Wir hätten mit einem Entgegenkommen bei einem Teil der Stromkosten gerechnet, aber es gab noch nicht mal ein "Tut mir leid". Dieses Haus werden wir nicht mehr buchen.

wunderschönes Irland
Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung war perfekt. Der große Kamin trug abends viel zur Gemütlichkeit bei. Vom Ausgangspunkt hatten wir viele Möglichkeiten den Ring of Kerry intensiv kennenzulernen. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir wütden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.

Blick zum Meer (aber zu weit, um hinzulaufen), mitten im Grünen und an Wanderwegen gelgeb, ein paar Fahrminutem zum empfehlenswerten Pub „Blind Piper“ - die Voraussetzungen für einen ruhigen Urlaub sind gegeben.

un endroit exceptionnel
Une maison très bien située, entre mer et montagne, agréable à vivre. La propriétaire est sympathique et pas embêtante. On pourrait juste apprécier quelques ustensiles et plats supplémentaires dans la cuisine (une bassine, une cueillère en bois, une râpe à fromage, un plat à gâteau, ce genre de choses...). C'est aussi un peu compliqué de mettre les cirés à sécher quand on revient d'une promenade humide. Mais sinon l'endroit parfait, très au calme, très beau.

Het was heel fijn en er waren voldoende spullen aanwezig. Het was alleen wat ver van de supermarkt, andere winkels en van een pub of restaurant. Ook was het niet duidelijk dat we van de eigenaresse nog een nota kregen voor de electriciteit.

Lovely week near Derrynane Bay
Cottage with lovely (mostly wild) garden - our dog loved it. About 5km from the wonderful Derrynane Bay - 3 glorious beaches (dogs not allowed on two from 11-7) and headland packed with rabbits and wild flowers. We went there twice a day and our dog was in heaven. Some contradictions in the property info and had initial difficulty contacting someone for help with kitchen appliances (number tried was someone who had moved to England & other numbers no reply). Once eventually contacted, owner v helpful.

Einfach schön
Das Haus liegt super am Ring of Kerry. Der beste Strand in Kerry (Derrynane Beach) ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Wanderungen direkt ab dem Haus gibt es reichlich. Und wenn man nicht weg will bietet das Haus alles was man für einen relaxten Tag braucht. Kurz : einfach schön.

Endroit reposant
En dehors de la circulation, sans vis à vis, proche de chemins de randonnées. Depuis la maison il y a la vue sur l'océan et la montagne. L'intérieur de la maison est agréable et bien équipé. Pour les provisions il faut faire une quinzaine de kilomètres, pas trop gênant si l'on a un moyen de transport. Nous étions 5 adultes. Pour le confort nous pensons qu'il ne faut pas aller au delà de 6. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Gemütliches Cottage in sehr schöner Lage
Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sehr schnell wohl und heimisch. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es macht Spaß zu kochen. Toller Blick von der Terrasse. Die Lage eignet sich perfekt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.
