"We wanted somewhere quiet, secluded and far away from reality, this hit the spot perfectly! We weren't far from Llanberis where we had some great food and went on a beautiful walk to the castle. The cottage was well equipped and gave us the chance to feel properly nestled in the mountain. We used our time their to celebrate my partners birthday, and begin art projects we've been preparing for. We met a couple of others in Fachwen and they were so lovely and helpful! Make sure you take your pound coins, I'd say in the winter, to keep warm we needed around 15 worth at most, but we did have a decent fire on one of the days! We're hoping to come back in the spring or summer to experience it in full bloom!"

"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. After a lovely visit to the Copper mines we headed to the Coach house (less than 10 min drive) . At the property, we recieved a very warm welcome from the member of staff who showed us to our room. The room was on the ground floor, clean, bright and airy with a lovely view of the mountain's. The heating was off on arrival and it took a while for the room to warm up - probably wouldnt have noticed if we were not soaked through! The hot shower helped though and once changed it was much more comfortable. The Tv (although very small ) was welcomed whilst it absolutely battered it down outside. Being New Years Eve we didnt eat in locally but opted to drive to Portmaddog to pick up a pizza for the fussy 7 year old. Later in the evening we ventured out and joined in with the celbrations in the village- fantastic community spirit and a beautiful sight despite the weather ha! The beds were very comfortable to enable a good nights sleep and the continental breakfast items are a nice addition to help yourself to breakfast. A late checkout of 11 also meant no need to rush out early. The village of Beddgellert is beautiful, and the location of the coach house is just perfect to explore the village. "

"This is one of best independent accommodation i have stayed at. The 4 poster bedroom with sea view room is wonderful and so well equipped; the hosts have thought of everything you may need, from microwave, cutlery, fridge, water, tray of refeshments,microwave, toiletries, a multi plug power station next to the bed. The bottle of fizz was such a lovely touch after a day of walking. The building is very central, next to the castle. Had a great view of over the bay, it was so quiet, didnt even hear the other residents there, the bed very comfortable, fab shower, super fluffy towels and the room spotless. Jan the host was so helpful, even gave up her parking space out sode for me. I will definitely book again when i return to north wales."

"Staff is helpful and lovely, property is right next to 2 mountain trails so extremely convenient; also right next to carpark so extremely accessible via public transport (one bus from rail station to and fro, as well as bus to Llanberis should you wish to explore the village). Rooms are clean, cosy, and warm. Shared shower has warm water, but would recommend bringing your own slippers to wear while in shower. Overall a super healing trip with breathtaking views - YHA making the experience comfortable and convenient. "
