Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Great base for exploring snowdonia
Comfortable accommodation, easily enough for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Everything we needed for the week Great location, we enjoyed lots of exploring straight from the house with walks up Moel Hebog (more challenging than expected!), to Llyn Dinas, as well as Beddgelert forest. Also two great days spent canyoning and coasteering with Matt from Active Cymru - would definitely recommend both! Beddgelert village is lovely with pubs, cafes and a fantastic ice cream place - we sadly didn't quite manage to try all of the flavours! Had a problem with a leaky shower, emailed to report this and was sorted the next day which was fab. Overall a great week!

A lovely cottage in a great location, just on the edge of the stunning village of Beddgelert.
A lovely cottage in a great location, just on the edge of the stunning village of Beddgelert. There’s plenty of space in the cottage, two bathrooms and a great fireplace. The outside area is more limited, however, with steep steps to a small balcony area. There are also quite steep steps inside the property that we’re fine for most of our family, but the more elderly struggled at times.

Lovely little cottage
The position of this cottage is fantastic with a view of the river and the distant mountains from the front door .The 5 minute walk to the centre of Beddgelert is wonderful. The cottage although can officially cater for 8 guests but I think this would prove v cramped . The outside space is a small decked area with wooden steps to a high area of decking .The raised deck offers far reaching views .There are 2 wild goats that graze the hillside behind the cottage . The cottage deserves and requires some TLC to bring it back to scratch.

Good house in an excellent location.
Good house in an excellent location. Quality of the fixtures and fittings ranged from excellent to poor. The negatives; There is a local council street light attached to the front of the cottage which if you are sleeping in the front room makes it feel like broad daylight; top shelf of dishwasher broken; Kitchen had a strong odour lasting all week; beds are one of the most important things in a rental and cheap Ikea beds are never good; the decking area is a great idea but definitely needs some maintenance especially the lighting. The positives; the kitchen and dining area worked very well; the lounge was a very cosy place to retreat at night (better sofas would help, not Ikea); the showers were excellent; the whole house was heated well and always felt plenty warm enough. The Parking outside the property worked well and the fact you could walk into town, bike to Beddgelert forest and start the Watkins path to Snowdon just down the road (all from the house) made the overall experience a good one. A little TLC here and there and better quality fixtures and fittings and that experience would improve greatly.
