The AUBERGE is comfortable, not luxurious in any sense. Access to rooms is difficult without an elevator. Hot water took forever to arrive. The bathtub/shower was dangerously slick. We were not prepared for the fact that dining is entirely lactose and gluten free. No exceptions. In its favor, the staff is delightful.

Lücke zwischen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit
Wir haben die Auberge als Zwischenübernachtung bei unserer Heimreise gewählt. Die lage ist absolut idyllisch, das Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unser Zimmer war aber leider einem 4 Sterne Haus absolut unwürdig, Schimmel an der Wand, Tür nicht abschließbar, heruntergekommenes Badezimmer. Was aber ein absoluter Traum ist: das Restaurant! Selten so gut gegessen in einer wunderbaren Atmosphäre it super geschultem Personal. Auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen fantastisch. Es klafft leider eine große Lücke zwischen Personal, Restaurant und dann dem Zimmer. Personal und Restaurant eher 5 Sterne , Zimmer eher Hostal mit 2 Sternen. Wir würden aber trotzdem für eine Zwischenübernachtung wiederkommen, aus den oben genannten Gründen.

Séjour merveilleux, personnel très chaleureux, souriant, une cheffe cuisinière très créative et généreusement impliquée dans sa cuisine, un jardin calme et apaisant comme un havre de paix. Il suffirait d'un peu plus d'attention sur la literie et le confort des salles des bains (chambre standard) pour que les attentes que l'on peut avoir d'un quatre étoiles à ce tarif soient satisfaites. Bonne route à l'hôtel et au restaurant qui mérite par ailleurs un grand succès ne serait-ce que par la philosophie et la cuisine qui permet aux intolérants divers et variés d'accéder à des plats plein de saveurs en pleine confiance.

Det som gör skillnad mellan en vanlig hotellvistelse och en vistelse på ett hotell av klass kan ibland vara små detaljer - i detta fall var denna detalj frukosten. Auberge La Feniere serverade en helt underbar frukost! Och när dessutom utsikten var imponerande och middagen var av hög klass gjorde att besöket verkligen blev en positiv upplevelse!
