"I was looking for a place for a couple of days of solitude to pray, think, and write. This lodge fit the bill. Beautiful view of the lake, simple, quiet, and convenient. You feel like you’re out in the boonies, but Walmart is less than 5 mins away. James was a great and communicative host. Self check-in/check-out was easy. Highly recommend. "

"For starters, the home was beautiful. Upon arriving, the outdoor trash bin and recycling bin were both over flowing with trash. There were many dead crickets in both garages right after they stated the cleaners just finished up and we are able to check in. When I booked this place, I put that I would be having 11-12 guests. There was only enough towels for 5 individuals, I had to go to the grocery store to purchase my own trash bags, paper towels and tissue. After contacting the owner, she...

"Very nice home with modern decor and plenty of bedding. The table was large, and it seated my entire family for meals. The back patio was very comfortable to enjoy while the kids used the hot tub. "

"We live in Rockwall and needed a large space for family traveling in for our family Christmas celebration. There was more than enough room for sleeping as well as a large kitchen and living area for us all to gather. The “kids” had a great time with all the game tables and video games. The privacy of upstairs allowed them be a bit louder without bothering the adults downstairs. We will be using this property again for future family gatherings. "

"Overall the house was just right for us. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern. The booking gave the impression of public access to the lake, which we couldn't find within walking distance. We came during rainy season, so the yard wasn't usable for us either, unfortunately. Few little minor things I'd suggest to make the stay better - washcloths for the bathroom and a pitcher in the kitchen. Overall I'd recommend this house to others."
