Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

And to go outside tot the bathroom is a disadvantage.We lived mostly in the kitchen because of the very effective pelletstove. "Nothing could have prepared us for how special and unique this location was. The home lies in a stone village on an enchanted mountain woven with waterfalls and mists. The host was gracious, has an excellent kitchen for cooking, and a special set of fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. Traveled with a small dog too, who also very much enjoyed this magical spot. We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Perfetto!"

"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

"Amazing location if you like off the beaten path. Fantastic setting with wonderful view and local outdoors. Very quiet since only a handful of people still live in small older village. The apartment couldn't have more charm and the hosts went above and beyond to get us to the remote location and to make sure every need was met but at the same time giving lots of privacy. We wish we had another week at this location and we will be coming back."
