"I cannot praise this property enough if you like history and peace and quiet. Erik and Annette have created a beautiful haven in this historic castle. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable while still retaining it's historical features. The whole castle and the surrounding medieval village are treasure troves. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night.
