Villa Mariposa is an OCEAN FRONT 4,000 square foot, two-story, three bedroom villa with a private backyard featuring sweeping views, an infinity pool, BBQ, and jacuzzi.

The villa is located within the exclusive and secure Puerta del Sol sub development of Cabo del Sol. Each of the three bedrooms features its own in-suite bathroom with custom stone showers and tubs.

Two bedrooms feature king beds and the third bedroom has two double beds. In addition there are comfortable air mattresses and plenty of linens if needed.

Open floor plan with sweeping ocean views from all rooms. Gourmet kitchen. Large family room, living room and dining room. Balconies and patios for outside dining and lounging.

The villa is located directly on the Cabo del Sol Ocean Course, which is a world-renowned

Villa Mariposa is just a few steps from the sand in a 24 hour security gated complex that offers several additional infinity pools, a well appointed air conditioned gym, and a clubhouse that offers a full bar and three meals a day.

Villa Mariposa is also a very short walk on the beach to two luxury resorts (Sheraton and Fiesta Americana) that both feature amenities ranging from causal dining to five star restaurants to incredible massage and spa services. Some other local attractions include:

Beautiful property with lots of space. Wonderful little play pool for kids. We started everyday whale watching from the patio with our breakfast. The beach at the property isn't swimmable, but still works for sand castles... with the pool right at the back door, we didn't miss it.

We stayed here in March for our spring break. 2 teen boys and my husband and myself. I had great communication with Brett before booking and closer to our arrival, Elizabeth was fantastic in lining up groceries, golf, airport transportation, massages, and a chef to be at the house one evening of our stay. Transportation from the airport was phenomenal and we were greeted by our concierge Fernando when we arrived. House was spectacular and views were amazing. No need to go on a whale watching tour when we could see them all day from the balcony. We did a couple meals at the nearby property (formerly Sheraton). I wish I would have made reservations sooner there as it does get filled up. We had friends at the Grand Fiesta Americana that we were able to walk and visit. I would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to Cabo - clean, beautiful, and the concierge service was fantastic!

This is a wonderful property. Honestly, the photos do NOT do it justice. It is even better than it appears. It was spotless, perfectly appointed and comfortable for all six of us. This was our first trip to Cabo, so I was a little unsure of how to organize it. Our Concierge for the house, Elizabeth and Fernando, worked tirelessly to make sure we had a seamless trip. Fernando was spectacular. It would have been a great vacation, but he made it unforgettable with his recommendations for outings, restaurants, and local life. He made everything so easy. If you are thinking about renting this property, think no more. Do it. A wonderful, easy and magical vacation awaits you.

The Villa de Mariposa is located in the beautiful and gated community of Cabo de Sol. The villa offers easy access, ample space and amenities to ensure the best time in Cabo. 50th anniversary with family
Villa was exactly as depicted on the VRBO web site. Beautiful property and grounds, fantastic unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great choice. We hosted our 50th wedding anniversary with kids and grandkids and we took advantage of all of the villa's amenities. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our concierge, Fernando, was very friendly and accommodating, and our Guest Services representative, Elizabeth, was very responsive throughout the booking and pre-trip process. A few minor criticisms which prevents me from giving it a five-star rating: The dishwasher was broken when we arrived so we had to do our own dishes and the freezer was not operating properly. The electrical outlet in one of the bathrooms was faulty and kept tripping the GFI breaker and one of the shower drains was dirty and partially clogged. For first-time visitors to Cabo, I highly recommend using local transportation (taxi's) rather than renting a car as traffic in Cabo can be pretty bad and local drivers know the alternative routes. Food and beverage is extremely expensive in Cabo, whether dining out or buying at grocery stores so plan on doubling the amount that you would spend in many other destinations. Villa Mariposa was truly spectacular in almost every regard and we would definitely return.

Wonderful house - great concierge service!!
This is a wonderful home and well represented by the VRBO listing. Great location with easy walking access to the Hacienda Del Mar for several restaurant options. The concierge was outstanding and helped with all activities planning and coordinating everything from rides to even just getting pizza delivered. We would definitely stay here again. Great pool and whale watching right from your own porch (at least in November).

A golf and fishing paradise
We traveled to Cabo San Lucas for a quick get away. Upon arrival at this beautiful villa we were greater by our concierge, who had already secured all of our grocery requests and put them away. On our fist day in Cabo we went fishing and caught a 150 lb black marlin, a mackerel and a grouper. That evening a private chef came to the villa and prepared a 5 star dinner out of our fresh catch. The second day we played golf at Cabo Real, which has breathtaking views of the ocean on every hole. Our last day we relaxed by the pool listening to the thunderous crashes of ocean waves. That evening the private chef returned and preaped some of the best steaks we have ever had. This was villa and the staff made for an unforgettable trip, and we are already making plans to return in the near future.

Our family has stayed at several homes in the Cabo area and this was the only property that we didn't have to do some cleaning before we settled in. The photos on this listing do not do this villa justice. It far surpassed my expectations. It is conviently located about 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas in the Cabo del Sol area. It's in a private community, and then even in a more private portion of it (you pass through 2 security gates). The views were stunning. We watched whales jump and breach all throughout the day. The pool was perfect, great proximity to the beach. The rooms were very spacious - each bedroom essentially has it's own wing of the villa. Plenty of space for storage and the bathrooms were all huge! The service options were also incredible. The concierge was so welcoming and perfectly planned and executed anything we could dream of. We will definitely be coming back.

The GOOD Life = Cabo San Lucas
So, after years of hearing "Cabo is great!" and "You haven't been to Cabo!?" and "Do you even lift, bro?!"(which I assume is completely unrelated), I decided to take the plunge and plan a trip. Good thing my wife's birthday was around the corner...So, searching every listing as I do, I come across this 'quaint' looking bungalow and, since I was looking AWAY from any type of resort, this fell right in line. Talk about understate & OVER-deliver - Oh boy. When we found our way to the Villa, the ENTIRE experience was worth every penny. The privacy wall, the wrought iron gate which led into a beautiful flowery courtyard, with an awesome fountain of tranquility, along with the stoned tile walk-space were the precursor to the STUNNING interior. You are greeted by a full-wall glass patio door, which gives way to an absolutely breathtaking view of a semi-private beach...I'm pretty sure we stayed on the patio until the sun went down!! But then, the bedroom...the bathroom...the WALK UP TO THE BATHROOM...I'm not even exaggerating. The decor was meticulously curated to represent the domicile's rich cultural history. The Artwork...the vaulted ceilings and stained glass accents....the ornate metal railings leading down to the lower dwelling space (with the additional master-styled rooms) added soo much character to the living space. We enjoyed it so much, we realized that we needed to book another day - a 'Last call' if you will! The ONLY knock is, Brett didn't leave the keys to the scooters (maybe next time if we pre-ask nicely🤓)...There's wayyy too much to say about this place, so i'll say this: "it was like a movie" 😉 No exaggeration... Book this place if you want to feel like a V.I.P. We'll definitely be back. Definitely soon.

Absolutely Perfect Location and Amazing Home
We just got back from staying at Villa Mariposa and it was incredible. From Brent, the owner of the home, to Elizabeth who took care of all of our needs before the trip. She gave us so much information before coming and made sure the house and all the groceries we wanted were fully stocked before arrival. Set up our driver to pick us up at the airport, arranged our driver for the way back to the airport. no detail was left off. Then to our amazement Ricardo our own personal Concierge took over during the trip. He was absolutely amazing. He made sure that every day was exactly perfect. Booked us at amazing restaurants, set up a personal chef, the list goes on and on. He was readily available any time we needed him! We cannot say enough about the 5 star service we received at this amazingly gorgeous home. The photos do not do the view justice.....simply breathtaking! This home is everything you think it will be plus so much more!

We returned back to Texas after a fabulous week in Cabo 😊 Our home for the week was located in Cabo Del Sol at Villa Mariposa with a prime location on the beach. The accommodations were absolutely stunning and perfect for our family trip. The house had everything we needed and more!! But what truly made our visit so remarkable was our concierge Ricardo! Ricardo made our entire trip special! He absolutely had us covered with everything. His suggestions were perfect and his efforts went above and beyond our expectations - on multiple occasions. He’s extremely professional and handled our needs very efficiently. He was definitely one of the best we have encountered and I wanted to thank you for having such high quality hospitality professionals employed at Lifestyle.
