Cabo Del Sol is an exclusive gated community located between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, a short 30 minute ride from the airport or a shuttle ($17 per person, $90 limo). A rental car is about $30 per day, since Cabo del Sol is between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas you might want to rent a car, it tends to be the most convenient. Los Cabos is one of the most important touristic destinations in Mexico. The name Los Cabos refers to the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo in the Baja California Peninsula. Cabo San Lucas is right on the tip of the peninsula and San Jose del Cabo is about 30 km (20 miles) east. The towns are surrounded by a dessert, mountains and a beautiful coastline.
Los Cabos Mexico has a classy atmosphere, with world class resorts, and some of the best golf courses in the world. Near the resorts you can find the Mexican towns which provide its charm to the place. Los Cabos is known as the preferred destination of Hollywood celebrities due to its relative proximity to California. Many of them own luxury villas or apartments facing the sea.

Its climate is hot and sunny most of the year with low humidity, and low annual rain fall. Average highs are very comfortable year round from the 70's to the 90's Fahrenheit (21 to 32 degrees Celsius). However, during the winter, nights can be a little cooler (average 60 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit / 15 to 18 degrees Celsius) .

Scuba Diving
There are hundreds of marine species, and a perfect place for scuba diving thanks to its impressive underwater formations and underwater visibility. The best places are Piedra Pelícano (pelican rock) and the Dedo de Neptuno (Neptune’s finger), Las Cuevas (the caves), La Punta (the point), and the sand-falls. The last four are the most sophisticated for experiences divers.
The best time to go Scuba diving is in the second part of the year from July to December when the water temperature is on average 26deg;C (79°F), compared to 18°C (64°F) during the winter.
Sport Fishing, Los Cabos is the top place in Mexico for sport fishing thanks to its variety of species. Marlin, peto, snook, tuna among others. There is an annual marlin fishing tournament in October/November. You can find hundreds of boats ready to take you out on a fishing trip in all seasons with great expertise to make your adventure fun and safe.
Golf
This is also the best place for golf in Mexico. Courses are exclusive and favourite of international players. The ambience is perfect with views of the ocean, dessert and mountains. The most famous courses are: Cabo del Sol and Cabo Real, Palmilla, la Querencia, and others in hotel complexes, such as the Mayan Palace and the Hilton. From the typical fast food to Hard Rock Cafe to the local restaurants by the sea. It also offers more top-notch restaurants and renamed chefs than any other beach destination in Mexico.
For nightlife you will find it wilder in Cabo San Lucas and a more relaxed atmosphere in San Jose del Cabo and along the corridor. However there is something for everyone in both places.
