Amazing property but lots of mosquitoes!
The house and grounds are brilliant, with a fantastic pool that has a sloped entry which was great for our 15 month old to sit and play in, as well as plenty of space for our 5 year old to splash in the deep part.
There isn’t a lot of shade right by the pool but there are a number of other shaded seating areas around the garden.
The owners took a lot of time to ensure we were shown everything in the house and checked in a few times during the week. When we had an issue with the security gate someone came out to sort it within an hour.
All the bedrooms and kitchen were well equipped and we were even left some honey from the bee hive at the end of the garden!
BBQ worked well and we used this most nights.
Good location a 5-10 min walk to a bakery for daily bread and pastries, and a 5 min drive to a hyper market for supplies. Plenty of parking if multiple families were staying.
Only a 25 minute drive out to Argeles-sur-Mer for beach time.
Our only issue was the abundance of mosquitoes at all times of the day. The owners supplied plug-ins for inside, the doors and windows have nets across and citronella candles etc were provided for outside, but it did detract from chill time during the day, having to also cover ourselves in deet to avoid bites.
We would definitely return in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay!
