they were doing repair to water drainage which was probably the reason the first floor room bath tub drain was was imposssibly slow and no couldn,t take a bath for obvious reasons .the room flooring was questionable. good managment staff though thank you
We were there to avoid hurricane Helene, so that was the focus. We just needed a safe bed and we felt secure. But the microwave and fridge were both broken, the sink drain was clogged and drained very slowly. The floor had lots of chipped areas that could trip you. There was no sugar for the coffee in the office in the morning, and no one at the desk to ask. Just a sign saying they would be back soon, but we had to go. We felt we got what we paid for. Very inexpensive and pet friendly. Literally just a port in the storm.
The location of the property is a safe area. It is very lit up at night outside. The staff was very friendly.
I was not impressed with the room however. It did not smell good! That made me feel like it had not been cleaned properly. The bed was hard. There was a crack by the door that someone could peek in through. The window was not framed well. There was only one 1x6 board on the left side of the frame. I was worried that someone could easily break through that and enter the room.
I only needed a place to sleep for the night but I would have liked to have had a nicer bed and a bit more feeling of security.
The room was not worth the price. There where wholes in the ceiling. The bathroom was very tiny. The shower was not good. The toilet was not bolted down correctly. The tv was very small.
There was mold, bathroom damage that they just painted over, the refrigerator was old and very loud, the bed was hard and not comfortable. There was baby roaches in the bathroom and I killed a big roach on the wall of the room in front of the beds. As soon as I killed the big roach, I decided I did not want to stay there any longer and sleep in the room. I wouldn’t stay there again, and don’t recommend to anyone.
When,i pulled up to my room.. It was a bullet shell at the bottom of the stairs. The room below me,window was busted out. When,i went in the room. It smelled very musty. I saw a few roaches. The table was wobblely. An, the absolute worst of it all..I went to take a shower. An,the towels were dirty,with PUBIC HAIR FROM THE LAST GUEST..SMH. First an last time experience.
i paid & reserved my room on expedia. checked in person & provided my ID & bank card. next day i arrive home since im from out of town, seen another charge on our bank acct. i was charged 2x for like a 6-7 hr stay. spoke with a staff mbr that said to call back in few min. i been calling & phone stays ringing.
The sheets were stained. The room was not clean. There were nasty dirty marks on all the walls. The towels had stains. The door that connected 2 rooms looked like it had been kicked in. I propped the chair up against it. There were people fighting all night in the next room and in the parking lot.
Microwave not working, refirgerator very noisy, no tissues. Had to move upstairs because first room was very smoke filled: and had requested non- smoking. Did not use shower or bath because they were unclean.
The morning cleaning crew man and woman they were Rude and disrespectful. The fire alarm was not on wall in room but beeping loudly so i removed batteryn sat next to the lady when checked in was very helpful witb having change rooms due to no ac in first room that said didnt want bother for battery..the cleaning guy angrily saying charging Extra bc broken n fact was not broke then arugeing and cussing me in his language whichHA..i understood it was uncalled for ..manager morning guy was informed n he was helpful to make sure i was not charged anything more
Property manager was rude as soon as i walked in i told him i had a reservation he said 80$ i told him again i had a reservation rudely he said 80$. I then tried to show him my recept from expidia. He yelled yes i have a computer to. I then had to explain that i had a reservation already. He rudely said it will take a while. He asked for my phone number and said wait outside ill call you. I wait 10 minutes and go back in hes on the phone with a tech person he obviously didnt know how to use his "computer". I get the key after dealing with him. We go to the room the neibor had there door open blairing music. We go in theres stains on the walls and carpet. The ceilijg was falling down the tv didnt work. Over all it was a place to sleep bad experience at all points
Second floor row I had have been somewhat renovated, but there was a dip in the floor. The bathroom door was painted so heavily. You couldn’t even close it. Showerhead sprayed all over the bathroom and the walls were at this pasty behind. The toilet was cracked, but the shower had been updated and tub With a new set in enclosure. My son stayed on the first floor. The sheets were brown in the first room with toxic cigarette. Smell in a non-smoking room. So he changed rooms. The next room read a cigarette as well and the ceiling had water stains and was bulging so we had to sleep on one side of the bed in case it caved in that way room was not renovated and was not nice at all. They told him they could not move him to another room so he had to settle for it as it was late at night we opted to just stay there.
