Lived up to our expectations
"We had such a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable stay here. The property was beautiful, and the place was very quiet, both inside and out. The view was gorgeous! We had everything we needed for any cooking, relaxing, entertainment, etc.
The gas fireplace did a nice job of keeping the place warm and cozy, so that we didn't need to really use the thermostat much at all, except when we went to bed (the fireplace times out at 30/60/120 minutes - depending on your setting).
The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well during our stay. We used the charcoal grill once (bring charcoal and probably lighter fluid...we had to make a special trip even with the instant light charcoal), but we did not use the firepit because it got really cold outside during our December trip and we had some rain, too. I think it would have been fun though if we had. There seemed to be plenty of wood available for it.
There is a nice store nearby that has most any supplies you might need and a decent amount of groceries and freshly made items.
There are also many cool parks and various stores to check out in the area if you want to do some excursions. We went to Colditz Cove State Natural Area, which was well worth it and I highly recommend! The trail is a loop that takes you down and around a waterfall. It's not that long round-trip, either.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would stay here again!"
