The property was clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was very good. It was in a good spot to get to where we wanted to go. Its on a main road and the pub was not noisy so fid not affect our sleep. Its not in a pretty village but the surroundings are lovely. Its good value for money.
We stayed for two nights whilst attending Y not festival which was about 2 miles away. Lovely hosts and great room at a good rate. Breakfast each morning cooked to order and was really nice.
Perfect for enjoying a few days in Peak District - great location to travel around the area for walks and visits to various museums and other towns and villages .
We really enjoyed our stay. The Inn is on a fairly busy road, which means it's easy to find with loads of parking - but most of the better known walks are a drive away.
We ate at the restaurant both nights as it was so delicious and the team was lovely and welcoming too.
Great ambiance and lovely management.
We recently visited Buxton and started our day at The Jug and Glass Inn. It was a delightful experience from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed a tasty full English breakfast that was cooked to perfection. Overall, The Jug and Glass Inn is a lovely place to stay within driving distance to Buxton. Highly recommended!
We were welcomed and the room was clean and the beds really comfortable, nice walk from the door but also lots of gorgeous quaint villages within short drives. The food was good and no issue with parking at all.
