The space:
Hearthside Park Road is ideal for very large group/family gatherings, it can accommodate up to 28 guests (please see the sleeping arrangements below in the bedroom layout). The building is an old Victorian building dating back to 1883 that has been newly renovated into 3 luxury apartments for 2024. With this whole house booking all of the internal doors will be left unlocked so that your whole group can access all of the space - if you'd rather they still lock please just request this.
There is a self contained apartment on each floor, each contains: a full sized large kitchen, dining areas for 10 people (top floor is for 8), living room with large T.V. and spacious hallway leading to the bedrooms.

Bedroom 8: 2 single beds, T.V. in the room. (1st floor)
Bedroom 9: King size bed and desk. (2nd floor)
Bedroom 10: King size bed and desk. (2nd floor)

There are also 3 double sofa beds, 1 in each of the living rooms.
We understand the importance of a good night's sleep and have only selected the best mattresses and linen for your stay. Foldable cots are available upon request, please note you will need to bring your own linen.

Each kitchen, dining and living space is a spacious open plan design for the group/family to enjoy together. Books, games and puzzles are provided. There is a large smart T.V. with Sky and Netflix surrounded with comfy sofas for everyone to join in. The dining table is there to share precious meals with the group/family. High chairs are available, please inform us of how many you need in advance.
There is a beautifully landscaped communal garden, complete with a bookable patio seating area and BBQ. There is plenty of lawn to share a picnic on the grass and enjoy some fresh air.
The entrance porch has space for you to put your shoes if you wish, so they’re out of the way when the group/family are enjoying time together inside.
Private retreat – the rear external courtyard featuring a relaxing hot tub and a fire pit. For you to enjoy with our complimentary outside towels. So, go ahead, unwind in the hot tub, and make the most of your stay.
Plenty of on-site private parking, at the front and rear of the property.
Dogs are very welcome, please inform us of how many you have so we can prepare a dog bed and bowls for your stay.
Guest access:
As our guest, you'll have full access to the whole house (all 3 apartments with open doors); shared landscaped garden and patio. Along with the private courtyard with hot tub.

To ensure a smooth and secure booking process, here’s what you can expect: After you've made your booking through VRBO, we will promptly send you a link. This link plays a crucial role in our process, first asking you to provide some essential details. This includes identification, the lead guest's details, and a deposit. This step is not just a formality but a crucial part of our booking process, mandated by our insurance to ensure everyone's safety and security.
Once you've entered the necessary information, the link will then guide you to our Terms & Conditions. We kindly ask you to take a moment to read and sign these, ensuring that we have a mutual understanding of the expectations for your stay.
As for the security deposit, please be informed that a hold of £2000 will be placed on your card 2 days before you stay as a pre-authorisation, rather than an actual charge. This measure is in place to cover any potential damages, ensuring that the property remains in excellent condition for all guests. Assuming the property is left undamaged, this hold will be released 4 days after your stay concludes.
