Large Log Cabin On 12 Private Acres With Fishing Pond Near Mohican State Park


Hidden on 12 acres in the heart of Mohican Country, this beautiful log home is the perfect getaway for those who are looking to relax in the country and visit Mohican Park, Malabar Farm, Amish Country or Snow Trails Ski Resort. With 12 acres, you'll find peace and quiet as well as plenty of room to run. The large stock pond offers a pedal boat as well as easy fishing with no license required! The cabin itself has over 2000 sq ft of finished living area (not counting an unfinished basement) with 5 private bedrooms with queen beds, 3 baths, a huge great room with a magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace and 60" flatscreen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, loft area and game room in the basement with pool table and bar. There are two sofas in the living room. There is a daybed with trundle in the loft (we count as the 6th bedroom). A queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed are also in the basement bedroom. There is a pool table and a bar also in the basement. The 40ft front porch has swings and rockers and offers beautiful views of the property, pond and rolling country hills. Looking for a great place for an outdoor wedding, family reunion or other party? The lodge offers acres of green area around the pond that is perfect for tents and tables. Plus long driveway with a turn-around and a hayfield allows plenty of parkingWifi is available and there is also a generator in case of power outages. Best of all, the cabin is located within 10 miles Malabar Farm, Mohican State Park, Local Canoe Liveries, Prairie Peddler and Pleasant Hill Lake.

Large cabin with lots of room for a large family. Pool table in the basement was great. We enjoyed the front porch and fishing in the pond. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to my father not feeling well.

My friends and I stayed here in December. Place was incredible! So much room and it snowed the whole time, so it was so pretty! In addition, when we locked the bedroom door behind us on accident, the owner went out of his way to let us back in in a timely manner. Absolutely recommend!

We stayed in the log cabin with many other guests, it was perfect for a multi family getaway. It was about 15-20 minutes away from snow trails where we went snowboarding. We enjoyed a lot of family bonding time, it was a great experience. we all highly recommend.

We love this cabin! We love fishing in the pond for sunfish and blue gill… and we caught a huge large-mouth bass this time! We have so much room to play in at this property. The spacious porch with all the porch swings and rocking chairs provided a relaxing area to rock out and talk. The fire-pit is an evening gem for hot dog grilling and s’mores galore! We love this cabin!
