The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. Each room is lovely with its own period furniture and features and everything worked as expected. "Gîte très agréable, bien implanté dans ce paisible village de Guillon. Le gîte est bien équipé côté cuisine comme côté loisirs (baby foot et billard) et les enfants en profité comme les adultes. Dans le voisinage, Montréal, Avalon et Epoisses ; en plus on a eu du soleil ! seraibien"

"Nous avons apprécié notre séjour (une semaine autour de Noel) en famille. La taille et l'équipement du gîte étaient parfaits pour nos retrouvailles - trois générations réunies. Le couchage était confortable, l'équipement simple fonctionnait sans problème, la WiFi était performante. Le chauffage au bois a demandé quelques efforts mais a contribué à une atmosphère agréable dans les pièces du rez de chaussée."

"Wonderful stay in this beautiful house with a great location in Flavigny. Perfect for all ages- the pool table was extremely popular with the teenagers! The dining and outdoor tables were large enough to accommodate us all and the cafés and restaurants were within easy walking distance. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very pleasant. A really delightful experience!"

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich ein Traum, rustikaler Natursteinbau, überkomplett ausgestattet, mit stivlvollen Antiquitäten und Kunst geschmückt, großem Tageslichtbad und Garten mit Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und extrem zuvorkommend. Es scheint keine Fragen zur Umgebung zu geben, die Jean-Dominique nicht beantworten kann. Einen Reiseführer kann man getrost daheim lassen. Die Schlafräume sind jeweils auf einer zum Wohnraus offenen Mezzanine untergergebracht, mit sehr steilen Treppen....

"très beau gîte, situé près du magnifique château Bussy Rabutin L appartement était très bien équipé, lumineux durant le jour et de très belles poutres ancestrales s entrecroisaient au plafond. La salle de bain était grande et décorée avec goût. Le gîte est situé dans un petit bourg, mais une foule d activités et de lieux à visiter sont à proximité. Françoise et Benoit sont disponibles et acceuillants. Ce gîte est certainement l une des meilleures adresses à retenir en Bourgogne"

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"

Best property we have ever rented

"This rental property is a huge cut above anything we have ever stayed in...and that goes back many years. The properties have been restored to a very high standard, with taste and grace. The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the bathrooms immaculate. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully planned out to be versatile for any combination of events and people. We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating 20. There is plenty of tableware, and the kitchen equipment enabled us to cook high quality meals. We used the barbecues multiple times, the hot tub was a real treat, and the bikes got lots of use! The grounds are enclosed, so our dog happily roamed free, he had a great time too! Our host Nathalie was very helpful but happy to leave us as independent, which was perfect. All of us enjoyed staying here immensely, and we will definitely book again. Parfait"
