"The hotel is quite a walk from the train station. We had to drag our luggage across the street and through tunnel. But the hotel is beautiful with it's patio seats outside and bar in the lobby. The room is big and breakfast is very good. How I wish they provide slippers and toothbrush/paste, nor coffee maker in the room, or flat iron. We asked for flat iron, but 20 minutes passed and we have to leave already, still no flat iron. "

"Great location in the heart of Verona ! Walkable distance to every major attraction in the city. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nice. They had a good variety of breakfast in their buffet. I would definitely stay here again !"

"This is probably the best hotel I've stayed in. I didnt actually realise I'd booked a 4* but you cpuld certainly tell. Someone took my bag at the door and to my room. The location is absolutely ideal. Perfectly between everything. As a solo traveller the room was just right and i had everything I could need. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and hope I can return soon!"

"Hotel is in a great location in the old town. Despite being central, I didn't feel that my room was overly noisy. The hotel decor and rooms are a little dated and in need of modernisation and some minor repairs, but everything was clean and tidy. The reception and dining staff were very friendly, and I think the restaurant was reasonably priced. The spa is excellent. "

"Stayed in this hotel for a single night as part of a tourist trip around Verona and lake Garda. This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff were super friendly and polite. They helped us book a restaurant in town for dinner. Breakfast was also excellent. Hotel was clean and modern inside. Highly recommend staying here. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, hotel is in a brilliant location right next to the arena and near the main shopping area and many restaurants. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and was bigger than it looked in the photos. The breakfast was brilliant, they catered well for my gluten free requirements nothing was too much trouble. "Spotlessly clean room with the most comfortable bed and lovely bathroom - the space was just right and without clutter. The view over the piazza was perfect and breakfast was awesome in both quality and selection. We were also given a complimentary aperitivo in the evening on their rooftop bar. A 10 out of 10 !"

Remote hotel

"I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. Location however is in a village about 30 km from Parma. I went to dinner in the village at a traditional restaurant which was excellent. I was the only tourist there. If you can deal with a very remote location, a closed reception until 4 pm, and if you get a room in the new building, then this is actually a 5 star experience."

Spacious, convenient hotel

"Stayed here for one night, really nice location that's close to everything. The hotel was able to provide a parking pass for us to park in the ZTL and we found a spot nearby. They provided clear instructions on where we could park, which was really thoughtful. Room itself was really spacious and clean, would definitely stay here again!"

Definitely stay in this piazza

"This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. I thought I was in a loft, but it turned out I could hear the people above me rearranging furniture until late each night, but other than that, it was charming and perfect."
