A once grand hotel that’s starting to show its age a bit. The Presidential Suite was spacious but hadn’t had a deep clean in what seems like months (regular daily cleaning was fine.) Free minibar was a bit light on selection and was not refilled each day. Overall a good stay but it seems that there are two cleaning crews- one on their game, one not so much. Also, there’s major construction going on next door and they started at 7am every morning.

Maybe this location is much better in summer due to its short distance to the beach. If not summer then it’s not worth it. Staff was helpful, room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is a choice of three meals, no buffet. Neighborhood has quite some shady businesses. Metro station is reachable by foot but not necessarily with luggage. Late checkout costs extra.

Nicely maintained, small room, awkward glass door to stare at your loved one on the toilet from the bed, seedy feeling immediate block, but short walk to beautiful beach.

It was far from the station so if you try to come with more than a carry on... It is a hike. The floor in our room had stains and so did our mattress. The room was extremely dirty. It looked like it has been uninhabited for a while. Also be mindful there is construction going on so we were awaken by heavy constrcution and banging by 7am. I would not stay here again.
