Lakefront home on All-Sports Long Lake

Nestled in the heart of Amish country, this charming cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the lake. Enjoy both sunrises and sunsets from two north facing patios complete with hot tub. The home features an unobstructed view of Long Lake.

Two large trees in the yard create ample shade, and the lawn provides lots of space for your favorite lawn games. The yard has a nice, gentle slope to the lake, where the breakwall leads to the lake's sandy bottom. The water is shallow more than 20 feet out, perfect for floating and relaxing.

The spacious all season room has three sliding doors, providing tons of light and lake view. The eat-in kitchen has many new items, including microwave, pots and pans and other small appliances. The living room opens to a small porch with a table, perfect for having your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. A wall of windows in the living room features the backyard trees and the lake. The gas fireplace is operational - perfect for cool evenings.

The two bedrooms sleep 5. The primary has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a twin over a double bunk bed. There is a high quality futon in the living room that sleeps two additional guests. All linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided.

We offer a dock with boat tie-downs - bring your boat! Public access to the lake is just 7 minutes from the home.

Long Lake is situated in southwest Michigan, with lots of activities nearby. The Magic Capital of the World, Colon, MI is just minutes away! Many Amish shops and bakeries are a short drive away, and Shipshawana, IN is only 45 minutes from the house. Multiple wineries within an hour. Other nearby outdoor activities include boating, biking, hiking and downhill skiing. Bring your Jeep or other off-road vehicle to the off-road dirt track.

Always a wonderful stay!
This lake home is well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable. Check-in/out is easy and minimal exit "chores" which is appreciated. Beautiful lake views from the porch, sun room and patio.

An amazing family vacation
We had an amazing time at this property. Great house, on a smaller side but such a great functional flow makes up for the size. House sits right on the lake. Its clean, the kitchen well stocked with all the kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and whatever else you might need. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

This is our second year staying here. We Love It! My son loves the hot tub, my dogs love the deck, my husband loves the ability to have a boat dropped off for the week, and I love sitting out on the pier just relaxing and reading my book! Can't wait to go back next year!

Beautiful Getaway
Our stay was exactly what we needed for a mini vacation. The lake was beautiful and quiet. Having the hot tub was very relaxing as well. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, the extensive selection of movies and streaming services. It is so nice to have hosts as generous as you to trust your guests with all your belongings. We will be back to utilize the lake itself with kayaks and fishing. Thank you.

This is our second visit to the property and we just love it. It was my husband and our three children. We enjoyed everything about it so relaxing. From the moment we booked, the host was very communicative and welcoming! This is a beautiful property with everything you need for a quiet getaway! The property comes fully equipped with cooking supplies, a dishwasher, a garage, hot tub and even kayaks! The sunroom is fantastic for an afternoon nap; there is also a small bar setup with a wine fridge in the sunroom which is also a plus! The property is spotless, by far one of the cleanest rental homes/hotels that we have stayed in. All in all, no complaints, and we will be returning when we need to get away again!

A quiet haven, perfect getaway!
Nestled in such a quaint community, this house was the perfect escape from city life! As soon as we walked into the beautifully decorated nautical sun room our anxiety disappeared. The house has everything you need to feel right at home and the view of the lake is so serene. I also brought my two pups who had an absolute blast running in the yard and swimming in the lake. My sister was often found napping in the hammock and the beverage fridge was such a great perk for all of our water (I mean wine) :) We will certainly be back! Thank you for such a wonderful getaway!

Perfect family getaway!
We had an amazing 4 days at this property. Everything was clean and beautiful, beds were so comfortable! There were so many extras included that I wasn’t expecting like tons of water toys including kayaks! The kids loved the board games, bull water float, and especially the hot tub. All the furnishings are sturdy and high end. Even the linens and pillows were name brand, high quality. Laura was very responsive whenever I had a question. The only suggestions I would make would be to please add a ladle, pasta scoop, and cheese grater to the kitchen utensils. We definitely hope to return next year!

Wonderful Home with Great Attention to Detail
The family (Including dog) spent a wonderful Halloween weekend here. The fall colors were breathtaking and the sideways snow was just as pretty. Laura and Steve do a fantastic job making sure all your needs are met. Given a pandemic, this was so appreciated. The home was lovely, clean, and welcoming. All communication with them was seamless. We played games, lit a bonfire, took dips in the hot tub, read, fished and made wonderful memories. Never left the home our whole visit. Would love to return.

Exceeded our high expectations
This home checked all the boxes. It was a beautiful home with nice decor. The home is very well equipped with all the essentials and beyond. The location is one of the best spots on the lake. The beds were comfy, tv was great, there were plenty of games to play, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch even though we didn’t use it. The property is nice and the outdoor area is well equipped with two separate patio areas with tables,, a nice gas grill, hammock, portable fire pit, and a hot tub. The dock is very nice too. There are plenty of fun water floatation items on hand to use (kayaks, tubes, etc.), but the water was still a bit too cold to utilize when we were there. The property owners were great to work with and were very responsive. The fishing ion the lake was pretty good. There is also a channel that connects to Palmer lake which gives you multi lake access if you have a low profile boat. The neighboring houses were quiet and kept to themselves. Overall, this is one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had and was a great value by comparison. We highly recommend!

So relaxing!
We enjoyed our week plus at this home on Long Lake! Everything we needed was available with a beautiful view and friendly neighbors. Our labradors enjoyed short swims, the lake water is cold with the cold nights but the daytime temperatures were warm. Great having use of the kayaks and the hot tub. Communication with Laura was easy. We plan to book another stay 😊

Peaceful lakeside retreat
This was our fourth stay and this lakeside home never disappoints. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed. So nice having use of the garage, access to washer/dryer and so much more. We especially appreciate brining our fur kids with us. The communication with Laura is always effortless. Grateful we found this place.
