This (newly remodeled in 2024) private luxury mountain top cabin is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, boasts 270° views and is also home to a herd of (currently 8) adorable Fainting Goats (including 2 new babies in February 2024) located on the northern, southern, and western slopes overlooking the Cane River! They are all very friendly and love interacting with people, and yes they will "faint" if startled! Come to hang out with the Goats!!!

o An adjacent kitchen with GE stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a hammered copper farmhouse sink is a chef’s dream. Whether you’re preparing a family feast or a cozy meal, you’ll have everything you need.
Fully Equipped Kitchen:
o The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, flatware, grilling utensils, measuring cups, cookie sheets, cutting boards, a toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker. The K-cups provided in the starter package are a thoughtful touch.
o Note that ground coffee is not supplied, so guests can bring their favorite blend.
Great Room:
o The 17-foot exposed timber ceilings in the great room create a sense of spaciousness and warmth.
o The remote-controlled gas fireplace adds coziness, especially during chilly evenings.
o The 65" flatscreen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime ensures entertainment for everyone.
o The lodge wall adornments featuring a Giant Moose, Bobcat, Brown Bear, and Mountain Lion add character and a touch of the wilderness.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
o The main-level Queen bedroom offers mountain views, beautiful furnishings, and an excellent new mattress. The adjacent full bathroom with a jacuzzi is a luxurious feature.
o The upper-level Master bedroom boasts a 12-foot exposed timber ceiling, a King size log bed with an amazing new mattress, and a shared ensuite with a shower. The office nook with a desk and mountain view is perfect for remote work.
o The second upper-level guest Queen bedroom also provides mountain views, beautiful furnishings, and an excellent mattress. The adjacent shared full bathroom ensures convenience.
o Downstairs, Guest Bedroom 1 with Kitchen 2 offers privacy, a King size bed, a 50" flat screen TV, and a fully stocked kitchen. The walk-out sliding glass door with a blackout curtain adds additional privacy.
o Downstairs Guest Bedroom 2 with Kitchen 2, added in August 2023 also provides additional privacy. The rustic leather couch, gas fireplace, and log bed create a cozy retreat. This bedroom is also a walk-out with glass sliding door, and blackout curtains.
High-Speed Internet and Cell Service:
o For remote work or staying connected, the excellent cell phone service and high-speed internet/WIFI throughout the house are essential.
Pet Policy:
o While you both love all pets, please that the safety of our goats takes priority and we unfortunately cannot accommodate guest pets. Given previous issues, please note there is a $750 non-refundable fee for bringing pets onto the property.
Seasonal Considerations:
o The Burnsville area is stunning year-round. In winter (Nov-April), the fully paved neighborhood road makes access easier. Keep in mind that the North-facing driveway may receive less sun, so all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended during snowy or icy conditions.
