'Lakeside Escape' is an extremely rare waterfront 4-bedroom 4.5-bathroom home located on Lake Cumberland with access to the water. The property is located in the secluded gated community of Lake Cumberland Resort. The public boat ramp and access to swimming pool is located within walking distance from the home.
This newly renovated and beautifully decorated home boasts amazing views of the South Fork River of Lake Cumberland. Enjoy the tranquility of the property while relaxing in the three-season room. The large deck with ample seating is perfect for family gatherings.
The main level features a newly renovated large kitchen that opens to the dining area with seating for twelve. The well appointed kitchen comes with a double oven and all the amenities needed to prepare and serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The living area is equipped with expansive windows highlighting the amazing views of the lake all year round.
The basement is a perfect place for kids of all ages to hang out. The basement living areas includes a bunk bed, queen size sleeper sofa, additional sofa, television, and ARCADE! The arcade is equipped with over 17,000 games for endless hours of fun and entertainment. Board games, puzzles, and cards are also available for guest use.
Recreational activities include boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, and ATV trails can be found close by. The Lake Cumberland Resort III office offers various sundries, ice, propane, homemade fudge, and ice cream. Keno Cove restaurant, located at the LCR3 resort office is open daily. Seasonal hours may vary.

The house was the best I have ever rented and I have stayed a lot of places. It was supplied with more things than my own house. The owner was super quick to respond to every question. I would stay here again for sure. We even left something valuable behind and they got it sent back to us right away. You will love staying here.

Great for large family
Rented this house to have Thanksgiving with our son and daughter and their families. We all live in different states and this was a central location. 6 adults and 8 kids. Plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The cleanliness was exceptional. We were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful Lakeside House on Lake Cumberland
The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate a birthday. The large deck with plenty of seating was a huge hit with everyone. The screened in all season room was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The huge kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you would want or need to cook for a large group. The owner was great! Very responsive! Definitely recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay for 3 couples at this beautiful lake house with access directly to the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you'd desire (other than food of course). There was a very informative book on the house and the area. The host made it easy. Would definitely come back again.

The house was bigger than expected, and open with lots of great windows to view the lake! We came when it was cold but the screen porch was lovely and would be perfect in warmer weather. Brand new clean hot tub. The new owners were SO prompt to reply to messages and go out of their way to help us. Absolutely recommend!!

Beautiful property
The house was gorgeous, private and perfect for our trip. Some of the door handles are tricky to lock and unlock. My bed was fine, others said theirs was springy or squeaky but still had a decent sleep. Getting down to the water is challenging but doable for a nice float. There was a lot of outdoor furniture and the kitchen had plenty of items to cook meals. It is about 30 min from anything you may need so definitely plan but that was also the best part allowing our group to catch up and spend quality time in a beautiful comfortable peaceful place. All 5 of us talked about returning for a future trip. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful lakeside home in quiet tranquil location.
If you want a relaxing stay in a large beautiful resort home, look no further. Just book now. Gated community. 4 full baths with very large jet tub in master bath. Multiple level deck with very nice hot tub on the patio. Did I say relaxing? We had a group of 9 with 4 adults, 4 teenagers, and an infant. And there was room for more. 10 beds total. Newer washer and dryer. Beautiful kitchen, sunroom, and dining room. And the views from the deck are stunning. Very quiet setting. All you need is some groceries. Everything else you will need is already provided. Double ovens. Plenty of cookware. Nice grill. Perfect stay.

Awesomely Supplied Home
Our best yet supplied home. Could have left a lot of supplies home. The kitchen was well appointed with everything, and I mean everything you would need with multiples of everything. No shortage or limited number of items (toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, etc). Bath & Body Works hand soaps in all the bathrooms, Dawn in the kitchen, pods for the dishwasher, huge supply of dish cloths and dish towels and laundry detergent. We all said wow this is nice! Comfortable mattresses, the lower level mattress was on the bouncy side. We had an upstairs shower/tub drained slowly, sent a message to the host. Received a prompt reply and was told Chuck would be there in 15 minutes… which he was and on a Sunday. Both upstairs shower/tubs were tended to while we were out for the day. Great road to the house. We had a place booked in Tennessee, we come to drive curvy roads in our corvettes. Due to hurricane Helene we canceled. Happy this was available with booking 4 days prior to arrival. A lake destination would be great, looking to drive curvy roads, not many in the immediate area. With short notice, it checked all our boxes and we made it work. Thanks for making your home have all the comforts of our homes. Well done!

Overall a good stay
The lake isn't very assessable and very precarious to get down to water. Kitchen is renovated and well stocked with anything you could need. Bathrooms were not very clean and toilets didn't flush well. Lighting was weird. Needed more light bulbs or higher wattage. If I were going in colder weather I would have been annoyed to not be able to use the fireplace. Our weekend ended up warmer than expected. It is a nice development but a long windy road into. I would recommend patronizing the little restaurant on the property if you planned to have a cocktail or 2 with dinner. Overall none of these things impeded the weekend .

Great House—Great Location!
This is the 4th summer our family has spent a vacation getaway at this wonderful property. The house has all the private spaces our family of 11 needs as well as warm and welcoming gathering spaces. Add to that its location near the boat launch ramp and resort swimming pool and actual river access and you can understand why we keep coming back. The property owner is responsive to questions and great to work with and continues to make upgrades to this lovely property. Those are just some of the reasons we love this property near Lake Cumberland!

This property is very nice. Kitchen more than adequately filled with small appliances etc. We did advise the owner of a broken shower door, but we just dealt with it. We know things happen. Would love to return in the fall to enjoy the porches and hot tub!

Few glitches but all resolved quickly. Lower level by hot tub (outside) was not clean and furniture worn but loved the house. Kitchen was great but might be time to upgrade fridge since freezer was very rusty. Beds comfy. Loved the windows. Trouble getting exterior doors to lock in master bedroom and to sunroom. Owner is great! Very responsive. Will rent again!

This home is beautiful and fit our needs so well. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 adults and 4 children. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to make meals for a large group. The bedrooms were all nicely appointed. The large deck and screened-in all-season room was so nice to have. Our weather was great, so we spent a lot of time using those areas. We would definitely go back!

Perfect Location, Great Amenities
This is the second year in a row we have rented this wonderful home on Lake Cumberland and we have already reserved it again for next year. This beautiful property has great gathering spaces for our family, the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a large, well stocked kitchen and is near the resort pool, boat launch ramp and even has water access (down a somewhat steep hill). The property owner is great to work with, we had a small plumbing issue and she got it taken care of the very next morning. It is truly a great place to stay, relax and reconnect!
