This completely updated home on the highly sought after Upper Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ is perfect for your next vacation. It is sitting on a sloping lot with 147 feet of waterfront, beautiful natural granite outcroppings, and fantastic lake views from the large back porch outfitted with a gas grill and outdoor seating. The boat dock features a covered boat lift (rated up to 4000 lbs), as well as a swim/fish platform and two complimentary kayaks to use.

Arva’s Retreat is located just minutes from Perisso's Winery and Inks Lake State Park, where you can enjoy hiking, geocaching, boating, scuba diving, fishing, water skiing, and more!

THINGS TO KNOW
The boat launch/ramp is located at Heart of Texas Resort at 408 Clen Oak Parkway, Burnet Tx 78611. They will charge a $20 fee to use the boat ramp.
This home is not available for events such as bachelor parties, fantasy football drafts, prom weekend parties or senior graduation parties.
The jet skis and jet ski lifts are not available for guest use.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: Private dock. Public boat ramp "Heart of Texas" $20 launch fee.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful home and relaxing view BUT....
The home was quaint, nice and clean. Everything in the house was great. Loved the sunsets and it's quiet and peaceful. BUT...If you have a child or animal with you, the sand spurs are outrageous. Getting up and down to the dock might be a challenge for younger or older folks, especially at night. The porch and dock need a power wash badly. Bring your own chairs and Kleenex. I swear that Vacasa in Spanish means "No Kleenex".

We took a mini vacation to this house for my husband’s birthday cause he loves fishing and it was all we were looking for, the lake right in the backyard the entire family had so much fun. Recommend 💯

You need to remove boat lift as an amenity _ it is inop and obviously been inop for a time Pans dirty- old coffee maker that barely works and takes forever to brew- back patio dirty and furniture full of spider webs- yard needs mowing and trimming- lot of money for a place that is borderline shabby

Overall the property was as described and in good, clean condition. The interior has new appliances and the propane grill on the porch is very new. Downsides include nonfunctional window blinds and subpar cookware. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is updated nicely with very nice appliances. The beds are comfortable. It was clean, however more odds and ends could be available in the kitchen. Bring your own kleenex, and potholders if you plan on using the oven. So many deer! We loved seeing the deer multiple times per day. One morning about 50 geese were snacking on the lawn between the house and the river. If you bring a dog, the yard, front and back, has lots of stickers/sand burs so be careful. This area of Texas has scorpions so don't hang outside at night if they make you squeamish.

Lovely home....right on the lake. Seating area outside, nice BBQ grill, boat dock, swim ladder. It was cold weather when we were there. Woukd love to go back in the summer and enjoy the lake.

Loved staying here, great location, great views. Comfortable beds. The floors were a little dirty, and dust on picture frames etc. Kitchen was well supplied. No firewood or starter for fire pit. But overall a great stay, will stay again!

Family had a great time, clean and great spot on the lake. Beds were comfy, pillows not so much. Ladder on swim dock is unstable, needs replaced. TVs in all rooms with dish, little tricky to figure out, it was not as listed in the binder. Would definitely stay again, relaxing and quiet area.

Too many issues
This house is a nice little lake house on an awesome area of the lake. It had great reviews and we were really hopeful for a fantastic vacation with our girls. There was a wonderful swimming dock with a ladder so the girls could jump and swim for hours. We tied our floating island to the dock and it gave them a place to play. The remodel in the house was nice. The second bedroom with bunk beds was perfect for the girls.

We really enjoyed our stay for the Easter weekend. Wonderful location with a beautiful, relaxing view. The large porch was fantastic. We all enjoyed the kayaks and float pad that was available! Great time at the fire pit making smores. If there was any recommendation to be made it would be new sheets with a better fit for the master bed. Sheets were extremely uncomfortable due to the pilling fabric and terrible fit notoriously coming off of the mattress. Thank you for the early check in and late check out!
