Cute little River house!
Just a fantastic place, within walking distance of fantastic Winooski restaurants and paths. I would recommend this for any couple looking for a lovely place to stay.

Tiny retreat
This tiny home was truly a tiny retreat. The property was lovely and all amenities were provided. Convenient to both downtown Burlingron and Winooski. Though I stayed alone, the unit could certainly manage 2-3 people.

Absolutely perfect home for weekend in Burlington.
Eva’s tiny home is the most outstanding spot for a weekend in Vermont. She is thoughtful with every aspect of the home and provides anything we might need. It was the perfect size for us. We absolutely loved our stay. Anyone would be lucky to spend time in this tiny home!!

Wonderful place
This place was so wonderful. It has everything from comfortable beds to beautiful gardens. Eva has thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable. We even got to listen to a couple of albums on the record player! This is the place to stay if you’re going to Burlington.

Riverhouse Review
The Riverhouse is most certainly a cozier option than a hotel room when we visit our daughter at college. The tiny home is adorned with EVERY amenity that you could possibly need. The home is small and efficient yet also spacious enough for our family of four to have dinner and spend time together. We will definitely check this listing first when we need a place to crash for weekend visits.

Exceeded Expectations!
My days at the River House were delightful! Being my first stay in a Tiny, I thought it might feel small, but not at all! Soaring ceilings, natural light, and magnificent art work give an unparalleled sense of comfort. And Eva goes above and beyond- she thought of EVERYTHING!!! From a supply of cough drops to homemade granola to VT chocolates, you will want for nothing! I hope to make it a longer stay next time!

Perfect Burlington Spot
We loved everything about our stay at River House. The quirky spot is in a perfect location for walking all around the area, and it is so thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need but forgot to pack. Eva also has a binder with fantastic suggestions of things to do and places to see - we loved our visit to Shelburn Farms. It was our first visit to the area but not our last. Such a great stay and host. Thank you!

Perfect Spot
We were up for a wedding and this couldn’t have been a more perfect alternative to area hotels. The space is great, we’ll thought out and comfy. Just the right size. But the location near the river, and Winooski’s city center makes this ideal. We walked to coffee, breakfast, and the little nightlife scene on the main drag over the river. Eva is a champ. She has a good tjhing going there and I highly recommend this spot!!

The River House is exactly the cozy, quaint, comfy, relaxing tiny house that we had hoped for! Eva & Sophie have everything you could ever need, special touches throughout & constant conversation. Love the chair hammock, homemade granola, local yogurt, wildflowers, books and testimonies to read and of course the kitties and chickens to watch & admire! Had an amazing dinner at the Waterworks and walked the Winooski Circle. Highly recommend The River House for your visit to Vermont!

BETTER than I could have hoped for!
Everything about this stay and experience was EXCEPTIONAL. The space, gardens and neighborhood where all charming, relaxing and comfortable. Eva, the host, has thought of everything. Every detail is beautiful, thoughtful and creative. It’s at the center of everything and Eva has pulled together a detailed guidebook to help locate and navigate something for everyone. The visit to Burlington for my daughter’s graduation from UVM was extra special thanks to Eva. She is the perfect model for how to operate the perfect home away from home.

Amazing little place in Winooski!
This is definitely one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! Eva was very communicative and hospitable. We were super impressed with the comprehensive guide book and Eva’s hospitality! The tiny home is so adorable, the location is amazing, and it had everything we needed during our stay. Additionally, when we left, I accidentally left some toiletries behind and Eva was kind enough to let me know and leave them on the porch for me to swing by and grab. I truly cannot recommend this place enough! While staying, we hit up Mule Bar, Sneakers, and Four Quarters Brewing in Winooski. We loved Mule Bar so much we actually went there twice! We also checked out the waterfront park in downtown Burlington, Foam Brewers, Zero Gravity Brewing, Queen City Brewery, and Vermont Pub & Brewery. We highly recommend Mule Bar and Four Quarters!

Tiny House Love!
My wife and I stayed here 11/10-11/12/2023 and wow is it great! I have stayed in numerous VRBO properties over the years and I can honestly say that this is one of the best!! Eva is a great host who provided perfect communication throughout the process and was good enough to make up the couch as a bed so our daughter (21) could stay with us. And the tiny house is SOOO fantastic!! Fresh granola and milk and yogurt--all kinds of coffee, etc...TV has Netflix and other channels, beds are comfy, shower pressure is great, maps and artwork are so cool, parking spot right outside the gate, I could type for hours...We've been visiting our daughter at UVM for 3+ years and staying in hotels and I really wish we found this place sooner!! And Eva, that is THE MOST detailed house book I have EVER seen!! LOL 10/10 stars!! Stay here--you won't be disappointed!

Pleasant and charming. Excellent granola provided was nice touch.
We planned our stay to take part in hot air balloon ride but it was canceled due to high winds. Continued north to visit Quebec City and had a great time.

River House
Never stayed in a tiny house before. It was very cute and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is change the directions on finding the house. We were told it was a white house but actually looked blue with a shade of green for shutters. It was close to everything and all restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

River House is lovely
We had a nice stay at the River House. It is very homey thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the host, Eva. She provides everything you would expect plus more. Communication was excellent. And even though host is on property we felt privacy. We would stay there again when we return to the area.
