"We enjoyed our holiday. The calm, the silence, the beautiful view and the cows as neighbors. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and everything was neat and clean. The cottage is decorated with taste and detail. The surroundings are beautiful, we made many beautiful trips. We only found it a bit cold in the evenings with only a wood stove (September). Furthermore, the house is highly recommended. A place to go back."

"We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. "Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay. "Claudette gets top marks for responsiveness and helpfulness. The cottage is deep in the countryside with beautiful walls in the fields and woods all around. We made friends with the cows, the crickets and birds. Exactly what we needed from our holiday. The little village which it’s close to has a friendly cafe and the closest town, Cluny, is one of the most charming and authentic little Burgandy towns I’ve visited.
