"We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. "We needed a place that was fairly close to Limerick, the Burren and within walking distance of the shops and cafes. This house fitted our needs. Communication with the owner was good and instructions for entry and operation of the backdoor lock were clear. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bathrooms made getting ready for the day easier."

"We had 8 adults to celebrate 2 birthdays in Ireland! The house & surroundings were impeccable. We were able to let ourselves in very easily. Peter checked in to see if there was anything we needed. "Modernist and comfortable self catering cottages with the best, friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. We stayed 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The kitchen had full sized appliances that made cooking fun. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for setting out to explore Limerick City, county attractions, and local gems. There is a coffee shop attached that brings locals and visitors together. It’s a piece of heaven."
