Day 1 NC500: Stayed at Bunchrew Campsite. A great place. Pitched our tent right next to the water and had lovely fresh fish and chips from Hel's Kitchen (Helen) which we ate whilst soaking up the beautiful view.

"Without question, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in, in years. There was no manager on duty when we arrived (late afternoon - certainly not off-hours), so one of the bartenders had to check us in - and she seemed put out by it. The room had not been cleaned properly; there was a *USED* condom in the bathroom!!!! And, the drain in the *tiny* shower stall didn't work. Again; no manager to be found, so I had to deal with another rude bar server again. They took care of removing the condom...
