Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time staying at this vacation home. The house has everything that you will need. We would definitely come back. My only issue is the BBQ Grill. With the price to rent this house, it would be nice to have a gas grill. We could not use the canoe because the seat was broken

**Review for Lake Anna Vacation House** I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful vacation house in Lake Anna, VA, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The house was impeccably maintained, with spacious rooms and stunning lake views that made every morning feel like a dream. The open-concept living area was perfect for gathering with family and friends, and the fully-equipped kitchen made cooking enjoyable. Outdoor amenities were a highlight—there was a lovely deck for lounging, a fire pit for evening gatherings, and direct access to the lake for swimming and boating. The location is ideal, offering both tranquility and proximity to local attractions. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Location,location,location

Located on a very quiet and secluded inlet with almost no boat activity. The dock was perfect for sunbathing, fishing and relaxing while watching the eagles, heron, osprey, deer and fish jumping from the smooth glass like water surface. We enjoyed the use of the canoe,kayaks and paddle boards so graciously provided by our host. The house was large enough to accommodate our family of eleven adults. We appreciated the extra refrigerator in the garage and we were pleasantly surprised that the linens and towels were not only furnished but of fine quality. It was also very easy to communicate with our host with any questions we had.

Beautiful spot on the lake. Very private. Well appointed home with lots of space to hang out and relax. We loved using the kayaks and canoe. We would stay again!

Great family get away!

We had a long Labor Day vacation in this home which was well suited for several families. The home was comfy, well stocked and clean and was able to accommodate kids of all ages. The location was superb and offered plenty of water toys such as kayaks, a canoe and paddle boards as well as noodles and floating toys. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely hope to return next year.

Relaxing and spacious

We enjoyed our long weekend! The house is spacious and well stocked. Plenty of dishes and silverware for the 8 of us. There is some wear and tear noticed, but everything was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the deck, the dock, and the fire ring. The kayaks and paddle boards were a highlight. The dogs enjoyed the big front and back yards. It is a beautiful and quiet location. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent rental

The house and location on the lake were perfect for a quiet getaway. The house had lots of space and sleeping options which made it easy to accommodate multiple families. The house was very clean and had just about everything we needed. The power in the neighborhood went out our first evening, and the owner was on top of keeping us updated until the power was restored a couple of hours later. Would highly recommend!

AMAZING STAY CLOSE TO THE LAKE

Great house with everything your group needs for a fun stay. The house is incredibly close to the lake making for a short walk back and forth from the house - something not all houses on the lake offer. The firepit was a favorite of the weekend and the beach was a hit with the kids. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Would 100% stay again.

Relaxing Vacation

We have stayed 4 years in a row and already booked our 5th for next year. The backyard is beautiful! No better place to kayak and paddleboard. The new firepit is awesome! The inside is spacious. The owner is very responsive. Look forward to coming back every year.

Lake Anna vacation

Great swimming for our toddler and older kids. Use of canoe, kayaks and paddleboards was a big plus! Sand play area is a great addition. Property is well shaded and away from public access. We really enjoyed the private setting. We brought our own boat and owner was very helpful in making arrangements to launch. Would rent this property again.

Wonderful Vacation with Family!

We really enjoyed our vacation staying at this house. We loved the beautiful lake view with all the provided lake equipment. Owner was very responsive with answers to our questions. Was very nice to have the extra refrigerator in the garage. Loved the big yard. Kitchen could have been better stocked with kitchen essentials but overall was a wonderful place to stay and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house.

Excellent Experience!

I rented this location for my family during spring break for my children. It did not disappoint. Very large house on about 3 acres of property, lakefront with pier and two small sand beaches. My kids had an absolute blast playing in the water, catching fish and turtles. It is nice and secluded so we were able to enjoy ourselves without distraction. I would absolutely stay here again given the opportunity.

Fun last minute find

Excellent and responsive owner, great property and location. Neighbors are friendly as well. Very clean. Look for great improvements in the near future. One small downside: the kitchen, while well-stocked, is missing some key tools like a grill brush and measuring cups.

Outdoor spaces are amazing, indoors were disappointing

The dock, yard, fire pit, and back deck are all awesome. You’re in great shape if you have gorgeous weather. However, the inside leaves a lot to be desired…think lumpy mattresses, dings on the walls, dirty pots and pans in the cupboards. We also ran out of forks with just a group of 5. We won’t stay here again.

Labor Day Lake Stay

My family had a great time at the lake house. House is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy the lake. The home is on the private side and the water temp was perfect! We used the kayaks, paddle board, and float which were a lot of fun. I had to contact the owner and he responded quickly which I appreciated. One recommendation is to bring water shoes! We plan to return next summer.

Great rental on the Lake

We were grateful to have secured this property for a last minute getaway with our pup. The furniture was new and nice and the home itself had a lot of space. We agree with other reviewers, the bathrooms could use some TLC and it was odd to have to make our own bed upon arrival. The outdoor space was very nice and we enjoyed use of the kayaks in the mornings. Our only wish was that side of the lake was a bit more private as boats from other areas seem to like to gather near the "off shoots" next to the home making it quite noisy, especially on Saturday.
