"Our young receptionist (jeane fille, tre joile - wish we knew her name) was very professional and welcoming. She personally introduced the main areas of the hotel and locale and escorted us to our room where she explained the facilities. You could not wish for a better reception. "Aged between 11 and 80 and celebrating two 80th birthdays this year. From outside the accommodation is impressive. We all enjoyed the gardens and the lake. Plenty of room for activities and for relaxation. We were sorry that the sun had gone from the outside table by late afternoon as it was a great place to gather early evening. "Lovely hotel right on the beach, amazing amenities, beautiful spacious rooms, great spa, good restaurants (but book in advance). Be prepared that most staff /people in the area don't speak good English, but they are super nice and friendly and will do their best to understand broken French :). Highly recommend booking restaurants in the area (especially highly rated ones) in advance."

"My husband and I were looking for a peaceful, quiet and stress-free holiday when we chose to stay at the Nest. Sadly, the Nest did not live up to its description and the owner was less than hospitable. There was no satellite TV. She told us it had broken that week. Other reviews (seen too late) on other sites showed me that it had been broken for at least a year. The wifi worked only outside, at the back door or in a corner of the attic. Fantastic Property

"We absolutely loved our holiday at this property. Quiet rural location but only 20 minutes to the main stores ( local shop 5 minutes away). We visited the Rose Granite Coast and many other stunning beaches of the region. We took our dog, to which the property had a large secured garden with a huge forest only 5 minutes away by car. Our children loved the indoor pool area ( we did too!) , which also had a sauna. Property owner was very responsive to any questions and provided information about the local area. A fantastic holiday. We hope to return soon"
