"My 5th time (nights) in this hotel from different trips. First night found a bottle of water. Extended a night n no water the next day. Went away n came back fir one more night n no water as well. A tiny weeny disappointed. Still a great place to stay. Small details count. Otherwise a great place to stay."

"What an absolute gem. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was fabulous. Set in a lovely location above the marina, there a safe paths for walking and cycling along the boardwalk. The breakfast is sensational - so varied and delicious - we were very well looked after. Reception staff were very helpful and there is a great range if maps and experiences. We stayed two nights and had a great stay."

"Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. Only bad thing was that the Blackout curtains did not go all the way to the end of the window, so sunlight came into the room. Temperature was also a bit uneven for the room. "

"A clean, modern and well-equipped hotel in the heart of Vrbnik, within walking distance of the Old Town, several restaurants and beaches/swimming spots. Our room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. What really sets this hotel apart is the service - the staff who work here are so kind, friendly and willing to help. The restaurant is also excellent, with truly delicious and beautifully presented food. This is a lovely hotel in a gorgeous area of Croatia and I would definitely recommend a stay."

"It was fine. The room could do with some updating. We sat on the balcony and so did smokers on other balconies. Maybe designate a smoking and nonsmoking parts of the hotel so they don’t interfere with each other. North section no smoking and south section smoking."

"We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."

"I was misled by the drone photo of the property. There is an industrial zone between the property and the ocean. The room door was like a safe door, heavy with a 4-pronged bolt. It hinted that the area needed extra safety precautions."

"It was our 2nd stay. The hotel ie good for families, great pool and activities for children. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. Food is ok for an adult, but definitely not 4*, more like 2* - soups are made from powder, it is basically colored water with, disgusting. Same for desserts and mashed potateos - made from powder not from scratch. There is a children playground - run down and dangerous. Last year it was covered with wasps, this year there were 2 wasps nests and splinters pointing...

"Excellent property and great staff, a beautiful clean room with a terrific AC . Staff members were terrific. Breakfast was very good , you can order omelettes. There's no elevator so if you stay only 1 night just grab what you need from your car . The property is at the beach (2-3 min walking ) and we loved it. "

"Beautiful, newer hotel (5yr old) with all the expected amenities and a few extra! Friendly, helpful staff and easy check in/out. Lots of dining options within steps and the old town was within walkable distance. Avoid if steps are an issue as hotel is up 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. "

"If you want a very local-feeling hotel, this fits the bill. Beach area is concrete w/lounge chairs. Check-in person was very gracious but evening person was the opposite. We needed extra towels because shower had created wet mess in bathroom — told that would cost extra. (The manager did finally approve replacement dry towels). Room view was outstanding, breakfast buffet was sufficient. Bars of soap smallest possible. Surprised it is 4 stars; more like 3."

"We booked because of the good reviews but the signage is hard to see so we circled the block for 10 min before finding it. There were so many cars in the driveway we parked across the street. The first impression was not good, it's like it's someone's house scattered with kids toys and bikes. "We spent some totally relaxing days in this lovely house, which is located in the middle of nature. Since it is surrounded by a stone wall, our dogs could run free and we had our privacy. The interior of the house is cosy and it is beautifully furnished. The outdoor pool is spacious and we were glad there was one, since it was pretty hot in August. Fantastic stay in a beautiful house.

"As soon as we walked into this house we were blown away. We have stayed in a lot of villas across the world and this has by far been the best. The attention to detail made it feel like a home from home. Boris, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended lots of lovely restaurants and places to visit. He was always on the other end of the phone if we needed him and was always willing to help. The outside area and pool area is fantastic, with an outdoor kitchen, a separate grassed garden and multiple seating areas. Not to mention the stunning view. We would recommend this villa to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic week. "
