"Centrally located,easy to find not far from bus station and Chinatown. Lots of choice for food closeby. One chinese restaurant serves beer on same street if that is important consideration. Helpful staff at reception, lady owner or manager very kind and helpful. Room was compact, bed comfortable, shower good. Wifi good. Limited tv channels. "

"All is good except the parking. There are only 2 parking space for the entire hotel. The rest have to park at the public parking area. If stay on normal days, have to worry about paying the public parking charges per hour from 8am to 5pm, except weekend and public holiday."

"The morning buffet breakfast need serious upgrading. Limited choice of food and local or international food not up to 4 star status hotel. I am a frequent visitor to Resort hotel b4 Covid. The buffet breakfast previously, prior to 2018 was good, they served tasty nasi dagang and nasi lemak and egg omelette was good. Now the standard has deteriorated. Very disappointed. "Great Location but Needs a Bit of TLC I recently stayed at The Qamar and while there were some positives, a few areas definitely need improvement. Facade: The hotel’s exterior is in need of a fresh coat of paint. It could use some sprucing up to match the quality inside. Parking: Parking space were limited especially during long holiday/school holidays. Breakfast: The breakfast was just okay. "i'm very disappointed because the hotel did not receive my booking even though been confirmed by expedia. i have waited for an hour before the problem can be resolved. some more i got a smaller room (downgrade) from 2 + 1 bed which i book earlier (1 month early) to double bed for the same amount i paid. i should be compensated for the trouble."
