"wir waren im Juli im Ferienhaus in Scherpenheuvel. Das Ferienhaus ist großzügig und modern ausgestattet und hat eine ruhige Lage in einer Nebenstraße. Das Haus selbst ist sauber und die Ausstattung bietet alles Nötige, um einen schönen Urlaub genießen zu können. Die Fotos treffen zu 100% genau, was man vor Ort vorfindet. Die Stadt selbst ist mit ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lebensmittel) oder Gaststätten versorgt, wobei die Öffnungszeiten der Gaststätten nicht jeden Tag der Woche...

"Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil."

"Property is located in such a great area but away from the noise. You will be in the middle of the main area of interest in Brussels. The house is quite charming a little unorthodox but very efficient. The host was very responsive and quick to get back when contacted. I highly recommended the property rental! "

"This was a One of a kind property, very clean and comfortable. With exquisite decor and plenty of space for a family or group of friends. Both the hot tub and sauna were thoroughly enjoyed. Paul was pleasant and accommodating and you could not ask for a nicer host! The trumpet house is a must see cozy home away from home."

"The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty. "This home was amazing. We stayed here at the end of our time in Europe to unwind and relax for a few days. The farm is beautiful, the history of the home is incredible, and the hosts are phenomenal people. We drove to Brussels one day in 30-40 minutes, the local grocery store was easy. "

"It's a budget property, in a less than popular area, close the the midi station and a short walk to everything in the city centre. The out of hours arrangement was perfectly ok, though getting through the front door was challenging. All the icons were rubbed out, so makes it difficult to press the right keys, but they've promised to replace the key pad. Sadly the WiFi was none existent, pretty poor when all cafés and centres have copious WiFi in this developed city!! But sadly not at Smartflats...

"Love are stay at this apartment. We were very well welcome and had easy access to their private secure parking lot just under the building for 20 euros. It is close to everything. Lots of restaurant around the hotel even offers free coffee 24/7. Apartment was well equipped with all the amenities . The only thing I can add is it’s starting to show its age a bit, but not a big deal for us."
