"Loved our stay at Chateau Montplaisir! Our hosts were incredible friendly and the chateau is gorgeous, feeling like you’re walking into a piece of history. They recommended a beautiful walk for us to go on our first day. "An absolutely perfect stay, Chateau du Martinet is exactly the place for which we had hoped: a gorgeous rustic building, charming grounds, and a friendly team of people that went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel is pet friendly, and two very friendly little dogs greeted us upon our arrival. The driveway is a bit oblique to the main road and we missed it the first time by. "It was very nice. The outdoor space and pool We’re great and the unit was very clean. We were surprised the unit was attached to owners home as it was advertised as private. There were some things that we would have considered ‘essentials’ that were not provided - like towels, extra garbage bags, dish and hand soap, extra toilet paper. The owner clarified that these were not listed as included, so if you are staying here we would recommend bringing extra supplies from a larger town."
