"Wonderful hotel and fantastic staff who were happy and cheerful every morning and throughout the day. I don’t know how they managed. Peter was exceptionally pleasant and great to chat to. Breakfast was a la carte and totally amazing - gorgeous food and big quantities. I hope that I will be back within the next year."

"IMMACULATELY CLEAN unique property with lovely touches. Fantastic breakfast options. Nice pool area. Comfy beds and quality bedding. Sizeable room with balcony. Loverly hosts who provided us with a snack for the airport due to our early departure. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly for convenience (only about 7 minute leisurely walk to Mdina) comfort and friendliness. "

"A lovely old refurbished house on a quiet street just off the water front of Sliema. Breakfast good, very nice staff. Some guests had problems with the room key cards. Sadly there is no social space and only one hard chair in the room. However the rooms were good and i enjoyed my stay."

"the place is newly rennervated with clean, modern and spacious rooms. the place is quiet and safe as the door has a code for guests. The breakfast is great with customed made omelettes. Very close to castle , restaurants and shopping. Parking, you need to drive around with in a block or two "

"The Lemontree Relais is a pleasant little hotel. Its facilities are basic, although has a nice pool to sun yourself. I have no criticism of it, although it is a taxi ride away from anything you want to do."

"This property was exactly what my son and I were looking for - small hotel to use as a base. Hotel was spotless. Friendly staff, always saying hello. Have to give a huge shout out to Mohammed, always on the desk, was absolutely wonderful from the first meeting. If you needed something you just ask and he will do his best to help. Also a wee mention to the shop down the stairs, very friendly staff"

"We had the most wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matias B&B on the beautiful island of Gozo. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local sweets and bread in addition to cooked to order. Victor is a wealth of information- and it was fascinating hearing about the rich local history and traditions from him. We will definitely come back!!"

"Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. "

"We had an amazing time in Malta! Chris went above and beyond at every opportunity, he even managed to move things around and accommodate our trip at short notice. He was very quick to reply and happy to help with any questions. The apartment is on a quiet street, a short 10-minute walk away from the main square. "The hotel is huge, despite it looking older than its rivals, the internal decoration was good and was very clean. The rooms were large and we had a seaview. I can find little fault with our stay here. We visited in February and despite some building work going on (which was well advertised) there is plenty to see and do. The evening entertainment was very good. The food choices were fantastic (something for everyone) with of course unlimited drinks in the food restaurants and bars if you are doing AI. The roof top pool has spectacular views and is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't want to dip your toes in the cooler water found in Feb. The indoor pool in the sub-basement is really catered for the spa customers even though it is open to everyone. Based on the 'open to everyone' the changing areas need to be much larger in regards to actual undressing etc and the Sauna and Steam room do need to be larger, but i can appreciate that in peak season these areas would be rarely used. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and what i would say, is those people that moan about this and that, are talking rubbish. Where else can you get a room, all inclusive food and drink for approx £60 a night !! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff work extremely hard to try and make everyones visit the best that they can."
