About this space
Beautiful two bedroom apartment walking distance to some of the best the Elmwood village had to offer.
Across the street from the Richardson Complex and a short walk to restaurants, Buffalo State, Delaware Park, Hoyt Lake, Elmwood and the new ATK Allbright Knox Art Gallery. Minutes to downtown, medical campus and canalside. Short drive to Niagara Falls and Canadian border. I am new to Vrbo but this property has many reviews on the other travel site (airbandb)
The space
Newly remodelled beautiful two bedroom apartment in a great location in Elmwood Village.
Comfortable living room with new smart tv and cable. Two bedrooms with brand new king and queen beds. King bedroom has small
Walk in closet.
New appliances in furnished kitchen. Basement with front load washer and dryer.
Parking is on the street but since most neighbors have driveways you should be able to park I right in front of house.
Guest access
Great walkable neighborhood. Across the street from Richardson Complex. Short walk or bike to some great restaurants and bars on Elmwood. Hoyt lake and Delaware Park one mile away.
Short drive or Uber to downtown and Canalside. Less than three miles to medical corridor. Under 30 minutes to Niagara Falls.
Other things to note
This is the lower unit in a two unit building. The PREVIOUS tenant upstairs had young children and dogs. They were a little much above a VRBO and this was mentioned in some reviews. As of June 1, they have left and there are no further issues with noise at this rental!

2nd Stay and Still Amazing
This was my second stay and I can’t say enough about this place. It’s such a beautiful home that is close to everything you need. Even though I had engagements in buffalo to attend, I found myself wanting to cozy up on the couch and watch TV instead. The street parking can be a bit intimidating but I lucked out in finding spots right in front of the home almost every time. If you can’t parallel park, you’ll be in for a bad time, but there is always ample street parking on Forest Ave with a short walk to the home.

We loved this stay. Good location and great communication with the host. It was so nice to have some snacks and sweets when we arrived. Spacious house and nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

This place was great! The location was convenient. The interior was beautiful and quite comfortable. The host was amazing and quick to respond. Will definitely consider this place again when we return to Buffalo.

Accommodation not adequate for 4 people -- only 5 towels and 4 washcloths for a 5 night stay. Yes -- there was a washer and dryer -- but this issues should not fall on renters. 3 wineglasses for 4 of us. Same issues with other utensils and glasses. Should also have advised that rental was not ADA compliant -- between outside stairs and no safety bars in the bathroom which had slippery tiled floor. We did, however appreciate the suggestions for the dog parks. Beds were comfortable.

Great Home Base for Buffalo Adventure
The Elmwood location and accommodations of Aaron and Emily's space offered a great home base for our Buffalo adventures. Expertly located next to the core attractions we wanted to see (new AKG museum) with beautiful surrounding neighbourhood, there was a lot of benefit from alongside the thoughtful and thorough accommodations. The upstairs neighbours did have some rowdy offerings, but nothing some ear plugs couldn't fix! Would be happy to return for our next explorations in the area :)

The stairs were a bit loud when people left for work early in the morning. And the furnaces were very loud. The apartment was very well furnished and the kitchen was very workable.

Nostalgic Buffalo Visit
Aaron was extremely responsive to questions and requests in arranging my stay and checking in. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and many “extras” (wine, treats, coffee and Kcups) were provided. I loved taking walks from the house to the many beautiful areas within walking distance and to Elmwood Avenue. I lived in Buffalo for 33 years and previous stays had been in hotels in the suburbs. This was a much more enjoyable location for me - and, of course, still close to Wegmans!

Difficult entrance code did not work for us. Took 2 hours to get a code that worked. If you leave in your car, chances are your parking spot will be claimed soon after you pull out. There are more cars parked then there are residence sites Noise from the upstairs residence during the night. Dog hair on furniture and dirty floors.

Property was as described. Clean and some nice features; single cup coffee maker and pods, wine for reasonable purchase price and a front porch. Odd setup in bedrooms, both beds up against walls, no nightstands or lights that could be operated from bed. Bathroom was clean, but not a great shower. Owner was responsive.
