"This was my first time in Portland Parish, ao I wanted to stay close enough to town, so I could access the markets, restaurants, and other ammenities whenever needed. I read a lot of positive reviews about Jamaica Palace, so I decided to stay there. It was a lot more than I imagined. The old, colonial styled buildings were very well kept and elegantly adorned with paintings and sketches. The restaurant was very big, and it was set up in a sophisticated manner. The grounds and surrounding vegetation were well manicured. The staff was quite friendly, which was no surprise. The food was excellent, and the entire area was very peaceful. "

This is the place if you’re not looking for a place with a pool I just want something quiet and easy.
