Our home in Buenos Aires
My husband and I spent five nights at TGC in March. We loved the apartment and highly recommend it.
The building is on a residential street corner. We enjoyed the feeling of "living" in Palermo Soho rather than using a hotel.
We stayed in the "red" unit, which has a kitchen, dining area, living area, and half bath on the main floor and a bedroom and full bath on the upper floor. On the roof is a lovely and spacious rooftop patio. The three levels are connected by a metal spiral staircase and a metal/mesh walkway. We thought it was super cool, but a guest with mobility issues or fear of heights might find the stairs scary. The apartment was immaculate and stylish--it looked just like the pictures online. There is plenty of light--great windows and lamps and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, dishes, coffee maker, etc. There is even a washing machine, which we didn't need but looked easy to use.
The proprietors, Christian and German, were both warm and hospitable. We didn't need to contact them other than for check-in and check-out, but they were more than accommodating.
The location of this building is perfect for travelers who want to explore the city on foot. We were able to walk to several parks, museums, and adjacent neighborhoods from there. It's a short walk to the subte and taxis are readily available. This neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants, and amenities. It is family-friendly and safe area.
