Reasable location bad experience
This hotel is really bad hotel. It’s dirty, fridge does not work, dirty pillows and the breakfast is really poor. Hotel workers are arrogant! In the kitchen is a mess and nobody cares to clean up. I have stayed for 2 nights and on the second night there was no eggs, no cups for juice( coloured water), no cheese and coffee was really bad. Brad was not fresh and mostly sweet bans.

Decent location, but not of the standard expected for the money. Great power shower, safe and air conditioning, but overall grubby and shabby throughout. Breakfast staff chat among themselves and don't even say hello. When I asked reception for options to get to the airport, they didn't even have a number for a taxi firm, let alone links with Tienda Leon (shuttle coach), which I was told to see to myself. When I saw the hotels I could have stayed in for the same price or a little more, I kicked myself!

Great staff make for a good stay
the staff are very friendly which compensates for the lack of maintenance and missing light bulbs in halls and stair well and dodgy electrics, non working refrigerators and the filthy gym full of broken machines. The pool did not look clean enoughto swim in, although there were Argentinians in it. If you do not need the pool and gym, then it is great. Despite the problems we would stay there again as the location is so central and walking distance to many things, including the Galeria Central food court and Florida St. Street Tango dancers. we stayed prior and after a cruise to Antarctica.make sure you ask for a room above 4th floor as street noise can be a problem lower down.

Great Value, Location and rooftop pool
I enjoyed my stay at Galerias hotel. i got a good deal at around $70USD a night which included breakfast (we showed up 30 mins before it was over so didn't really get a good selection). The location in microcenter right off florida was excellent, near all the top shopping and good dining options and all the big city conveniences. we were able to get uber to anywhere we needed only thing is that they aren't allowed to pick up in front the hotel (walk one block up). the value for money was the main driver plus the hotel was relatively modern and very spacious. Air conditioning was very good (very hot summer in BA!) The rooftop pool was a good way to beat the heat in the BA summer, with amazing views of the BA skyline. Strangely enough no towels out there! We did encounter a few issues but no deal breakers: wifi a bit slow requested extra towels and we were given torn up towels (!) certain parts of the bathroom were rusted over some gaps in the floor and screws sticking out fridge did not work requested an iron which never arrived I did also spend a night at another hotel a block away and their breakfast was much better (included as well). To summarize, i would stay here again and for what you are paying temper your expectations.

Centrally located with good breakfast options
Stay was good overall. Room was clean and continental breakfast options were good, it was possible to check bags in before check-in and after check-out. Front staff, however, were disappointing at times. For example, though laundry service is advertised, I had to use a service down the street, check-in before 3:00 p.m. was not an option, staff were unfamiliar with options for getting to the airport other than taking a cab, and staff could not manage to help printing out my return boarding pass.

1 star,not 4 star - READ THIS!!
There has to be some level of corruption involved in this hotel rating as 4 stars... My room had no hot water, 4 light globes not working, cold shower in darkness, the safe was broken, bathroom fan sounds like a NASCAR, the room window over looked a dirty courtyard, the gym had no lights when i went for 6am gym sess, i tripped over... there are three holes on the walls, lose wires etc. they either need to sack the maintenance man - or hire one!!! I’ve checked out after one day and cutting my losses of $350 instead of staying the 3 nights more i’m scheduled for.

The hotel in general is not very clean or maintained. The bathroom is poorly lit without hardly enough light to shave or put on makeup etc. The shower hardly has any water coming out of the showerhead The AC worked well and was quiet. The bed was comfortable

Late Night Safety Concerns
The staff was great. Very helpful, very knowledgeable. Spoke English well. The Hotel is close to Florida street, its narrow and we were warned about safety. The air conditioner worked well, but the staff was always turning it off. The included breakfast was average. Our air conditioner dripped into the room for four days. Even though we told the manager the first day. The water would half fill the trash can we put under the drip. The internet quit working after after we arrived and was never fixed. Complained but the manager said it could not be fixed. One of our group coming home on New Years was attacked by five men in their 20's in front of the Hotel. Phone was stolen, Hit a few times in the face. Shirt ripped up. I would not stay here again.

HORRIBLE - antes, humidity, horrible service
ANTS in the bathroom. HUMIDITY in the bedroom walls. DUST everywhere. HORRIBLE customer service. I complained and they didn't do anything. I left the hotel before my scheduled departure even loosing what I paid for the remaining days. Couldn't stay there for a minute longer.

The hotel is in a very central location in the retiro. We had a nice big room however the facilities weren't fantastic. The pool was out of use, the equipment in the gym very old/broken and the room needed a good paint. We weren't provided with any glasses in the room. The room was a reasonable price, staff friendly but overall basic.

You will not want to get into the pool... it is dirty, i witnessed it being 'cleaned' with just a bottle of chlorine. Breakfast was sub-standard. Room was comfortable but basic. Clearly hotel has had a 'quick' refurb. i.e. some things were new, but shower curtain was old, and curtain rail was completely rusted. Some of the lights didn't work

Great location as base for Buenos Aries visit. Close to both San Telmo and our favorite Puerto Madero with the great atmosphere and restaurant selection. Hotel is used and does not appear in great condition, but good price/quality ratio.

The "outdoor swimming pool" at the roof is a joke, a splash pool for kids really. Sound isolation between rooms is minimal. Service level is minimal, but breakfast is OK.

A generally good visit
Hotel is very central and in a great area for shopping and restaurants, mostly Italian cuisine. Nicholas at the front desk spoke many languages and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various sites worth visiting. The housekeeper was also very helpful for extra towels etc. Laundry service was slow.

Perfect location, Very unfriendly and arrogant staff. They try to sell a ticket for tango show with higher price and if you do not buy it, even they do not call a taxi for you. Wifi is a big lie. Breakfast is poor. Comfortable and clean room.

I enjoy my 2 nights 3 days stay. Would come back again for sure! Front desk Nicholas was excellent resource for tour bookings and very helpful! The price was great. Love the location!! The room was very clean and comfortable. It is big size.. A large Bathtub was awesome! I recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel just one problem...
Everything was great: location, room, staff, etc. But the only problem, that's not trivial, the hot water pressure in the shower was awfull! They offer us to change room because they couldn't fix it but we didn't (so maybe is partially our fault too). I will definitely recommend it

Hotel was OK, the location is good for walking to many downtown places, such as : Casa Rosada, Cathedral, Calle Florida where there are many shops and where you can exchange your US dollars for Argentine pesos at a much better rate then formal exchange. Good plentiful breakfast served, and it is a clean and comfortable hotel, I would recommend it.
