This house was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Buena Vista. It was close to the hikes we wanted to do but also close to town so we could run in for meals/ice cream. We also loved the bird feeders the owners had in the front and back yards!

Tommy’s on the Beach: Lovely Home Away From Home
This place was fabulous! We enjoyed the intimacy of the place. It was super clean (thanks Maria) and Maria was around just about every day checking to make sure that everyone had what they needed or if there were any issues. We will happily stay here again. Patrice did an awesome job rebuilding Tommy’s on the Beach!

This was the perfect space for us, very clean, great location - very close to town and gorgeous mountain views right in front of the house. Great Place
The house was just as described on the Evolve site. Clean and comfortable accomodations with good instructions both on the check-in process and how to work everything in the house. A few minor maintenance items that needed done didn't disrupt our stay at all. We only used the master bedroom bed which had a thick foam mattress pad that took a little getting used to but okay by the end of the week. We will definitely keep this place on our radar for return trips to BV.

Fishing House in Buena Vista
We loved our stay at the Fishing House. The house was clean and well stocked with a great location. It was close to town, but far enough away to feel secluded. My son had no problem riding his bike to town. The views were amazing with lots of wildlife around. The beds were not very comfortable, but that would be my only complaint.

The house was exactly what we expected. Close to downtown Buena Vista. Clean and cozy. They had a book at the house full of local menus which was so helpful when looking for a dinner spot. We enjoyed the stay so much.

The inside of the house was exactly like the pictures show and was very clean. I appreciate that! The outside matched the pictures as well but they need to update them. We were under the impression that we were in a more secluded area and we were in the middle of a neighborhood. We wanted to be able to sit outside and just look at the mountains but felt like we couldn't bc of having neighbors. We didn't want them thinking we were lookin at them and vice versa. However, it was a very quiet and wonderful neighborhood, the pics just need to show you or tell you in advance. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to the smoke from the wildfire at Twin Lakes. We couldn't breathe bc it was settling there in our area of our house. We had planned to spend the day with the new bride and groom. Our daughter and new son-in-law (6-12-24 was their wedding day) but due to having breathing issues from the house (wildfire smoke)... we were not able to as we had no other place to stay. They were going to try and stay there but they didn't want to risk it with the smoke either. So other than losing out on money on a night's due to something beyond our control, we had a beautiful time there and plan to recommend The Fishing House to anyone we know staying in the BV area! Is there any way to get a refund for the last night's stay?

Loved this house!
This home was so cozy and perfect for our family ski trip to Monarch. The host was very helpful and prompt to answer any questions we had during the stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. She even had coffee and spices stocked. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views of Mt. Princeton in the mornings while sipping coffee. Would stay here again for sure.

Great location with beautiful views
This property was everything we could have hoped for! The home is very comfortable and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. The views out both the front and back were stunning. It is the perfect distance to the adorable downtown. We visited every day to go to The Roastery coffee shop! They set you up with paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, spices, dishwasher tablets, soaps, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, and even coffee! We were in love with everything and were planning a trip back before this stay was even over. The neighborhood is quiet and the houses are well spaced out. Our contact for the property, Mark, was wonderful and very helpful in everything we needed. We loved the location that Buena Vista offered, we visited nearby Leadville, Salida, and Breckenridge on various days. If you stay at The Fishing House, you will not be disappointed!
