Mountains All Around

Welcome to a special home nestled among the Pinion trees with a picturesque view of the Collegiate Peaks. The unique six-sided design of the home provides views of different mountains that surround the property and the valley. There are three decks that provide outdoor space for outside gatherings or a quiet evening under the stars. The home is a short bike ride or drive to Buena Vista, ski resorts, hiking trails, fishing lakes, hot springs, and white water rafting on the Arkansas River.

Our two-story home includes a large living area, kitchen and dining area upstairs. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and full bathrooms are located upstairs, including the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom. One bedroom and one bathroom is located downstairs, along with a secondary kitchen, living area, laundry room and family room. Please read Rental Agreement and Policies prior to booking reservations for more details about the home. The maximum number of guests allowed is 6 people and will be strictly enforced. No RV's, tents, trailers or other accommodations that would be used for additional people are permitted on the property at any time. Great view with tons of space
This house had the best view and location. Just far enough from town to see the mountains and stars, but close enough for a quick drive. The large home also had plenty of space for everyone!

Wonderful experience
This is a beautiful house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our family each had plenty of space and common space to spend time together. We were in town for a wedding at The Barn at Sunset Ranch. The house was so centrally located to all of the activities.

Best thing about the house is the views. Location is good for Buena Vista area. We enjoyed downtown Buena Vista and neighboring Salida. Mule deer visited daily.

Amazing Mountain View
We so enjoyed the spaciousness inside and out! The views were amazing and enjoyed watching the deer from the deck. Even saw a moose and her baby crossing the road! Great to be just a bit out of town, enjoyed the sunrises and the sunsets from the deck. Even caught the double rainbow! Kitchen had all we needed and the beds were comfy! It was a great getaway!

Beautiful views, comfortable and spacious home
Our group of four older adults stayed three nights at this lovely property. There was more than enough space for us, and we loved the views from each of the decks. (There are several decks and views facing different directions, catching magnificent views). We were fortunate to see a spectacular sunset one evening, and a deer grazing another evening. The beds and baths were clean and comfortable. Communication was quick and easy through the whole process. We'd love to come back another year!

Fantastic Views of Collegiate peaks. Great location
This place is in a great location. Easy to find. Quite area with a breathtaking view of the collegiate peaks. Hummingbirds and deer everywhere. Beds were very good. Lots of room to spread out. It was unusually hot while we stayed so it did get very warm in the house in the evenings before sunset. The windows with the best view faced the setting sun. So no way to change that. Cooled off quickly after sunset. There was one window fan, but could have used one in every room. Two sets of washer and dryer’s and a downstairs kitchen (but the stove did not work in the basement, not that we needed it). If you cook, bring your own aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and spices (there wasn’t any). The gas grill did not work very well If you have pets talk to the host before you book. Cleaning and pet fees seemed higher than many others. Overall, the location and fantastic views made it a very enjoyable stay. Buena Vista has a lotto offer and do!

Amazing location at the base of the mountains. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay feel like home. The deer came to visit everyday and we enjoyed the amazing views from the deck.

Amazing views
My husband and I spent 11 days at this house. We took our dog along and everyone was happy! Sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee (and wearing a jacket!) was my favorite time. The area is so quiet and we saw deer roam through the property nearly every day. The view of the mountains is the best we’ve ever experienced in our many different trips to Colorado. We found everything we needed for cooking in and it was super easy to drive into BV when we wanted to eat out. There is so much to do nearby. It is a great location.

Great location with lots of room
My friends and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time at this property. The views are amazing and there was plenty of room for us. The property is clean, well stocked with what you need in the kitchen and the beds were comfortable. We were all very pleased with our stay!

Good place to stay with great views.
This is a nice home with great views of Mt. Princeton. The kitchen is well stocked and furniture is comfortable. We enjoyed our snowy May stay by playing games and watching the Dallas Mavericks on tv. When we woke up to snow on our first morning, Dawn sent someone out to clear the steps and walkway. Much appreciated! I was not happy to learn that Dawn used the RING camera footage extensively to monitor our coming and going throughout our visit. Be prepared for her to count guest headcount, what doors are used for which activities, and to use any missteps to charge you extra fees. We are very sad that an otherwise good trip was ruined by some misunderstanding and a few oversights (on my part) of the house rules which could have been addressed more professionally and less invasively.

This property worked out great for the 7 of us and our dog. It was a good location for our hunting since it made a short drive to the trail heads and close to town for quick trips to the stores. The only thing that each person noticed was the mattress in the bed rooms could be changed. Thanks Ralph
