Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the beautiful village of Otterton. Refurbished in 2024 with accessible features to provide a sanctuary that can be enjoyed by all. Situated just off one of the main village roads, you have plenty of peace and quiet, whilst still being close to all the shops and cafes. Perfectly positioned for walkers and cyclists who want to get out into the Devon countryside, as well as those who want to enjoy the nearby beaches of Budleigh and Sidmouth.
The space

This home has been fully refurbished with modern fixtures and fittings in 2024. It has been tastefully decorated in a blue/grey palette throughout. The accommodation is all on one level, with a cosy lounge, a newly refurbished kitchen, 1 double bedroom with separate en-suite, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. There is also a conservatory housing the dining table with a lovely landscaped rear garden. There are two areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine, one at the front and one at the rear. The landscaped garden has newly installed decking. Please ensure you use any disposable BBQ's on the patio area, as placing them on the decking will damage it and could cause a fire.

The home has been made wheelchair-user-friendly and has the following features;

- all one-level living and sleeping space with no ridges over 3cm on floors, including doorways
- accessible friendly bathroom areas with a fold-down seat and grab rail in each shower area
- a pull-down hanging rail in the master bedroom to allow ease of storing clothes.

Whilst these features are useful for those with accessibility needs, they have been integrated seamlessly. This ensures the home would appeal to all, whether they need to make use of the features, or not.
Guest access
The home and garden is yours for the entirety of your stay. You will not share any spaces with anyone else.

Whilst we are on hand to assist with any issues during your stay, we are unable to make changes to anything within the home to suit individual needs. The property is to be taken as it is. If you need to get in touch, please do so through Airbnb messaging, or the support line provided in the guest manual (sent previously by email).

The sofa bed in the home will not be set up on arrival. We presume you will want to use the sofa for its main use until the night time.

Early check-in and late check-out requests.
We charge an additional £20 for any requests that are granted in advance. Please message us through Airbnb messaging to see if we can accommodate your early check-in/late check-out request.

The holiday home is equipped with small hand soaps, a couple of toilet rolls per bathroom, and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay. We do not top up consumables once the basic provision has run out, this includes toilet rolls.

If you wish to extend your stay, you must check with our team. The earlier you check, the better as we are sometimes unable to reschedule cleaning to suit. We must provide at least 24 hours notice to our cleaners.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification.

The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Lovely Break
Had a lovely stay in pass the keys. Place was spotless and very comfy . If you need a property with disabled facilities this place is perfect . Very quiet , with off street parking . Local pub very good and Otterton Mill lovely for breakfast, lunch or a cream tea .
