Charmingly renovated cottage.

This charmingly renovated cottage forms the annexe to a beautiful, 18th century family home situated just a couple of minutes walk from the pretty pebble beach and high street of the attractive seaside town of Budleigh Salterton. The cottage sleeps four and is ideally suited to a couple or small family. The front door leads into an open plan kitchen/sitting room with fully equipped modern kitchen and pine table with seating for four. The sitting area has a two seater sofa and two comfortable wicker chairs, a flat screen TV and DVD player and a French style wood burner. Stone stairs lead to an pretty double bedroom offering glimpses of the sea from the window seat. The smaller children's room has a single bunk bed and plenty of space for a travel cot. There is a private, south facing courtyard and patio garden with outdoor furniture where you can eat outside and have BBQs. French windows lead out from the sitting room area.

Budleigh/Salterton cottage
Cottage is in a great location very easy to walk to the beach and village. Cottage was well supplied. 2nd bedroom was a bit difficult to get in and out of bed as it was a bunk bed and we are in our late 70's. It was geared for a younger group. But all else was perfect!

Charming and Well Equipped Cottage
Spent a week over a very wet Easter Break. Short walk to the Beach and High Street, so very convenient. Free parking nearby was also pretty easy during our stay. Recommended.

Comfortable property close to all amenities. Exeter and Sidmouth in comfortable driving distance and well worth a visit. Lovely cream tea provided by wonderful hostess who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Perfect Location and Lovely Home
This was our second time staying here and it was just as lovely the second time around. Katie was a wonderful host, very connected and quick to respond. The home is located walking distance to restaurants, shops, markets, and the beach. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy some time in Budleigh.

Lovely cottage in close proximity to the beautiful pebble beach at Budleigh Salterton with lots of helpful info for our stay, and a very welcome arrival cream tea, from the owner, Katie. We enjoyed some wonderful walks along the coast and along the River Otter and it's also a great location for day trips further along the Jurassic Coast or to Exeter and Torquay.

Friends Wedding
Absolutely lovely place to stay, with everything you need. The town and beach are on the doorstep and the fish and chip shop is great and right next door. Couldn’t have asked for nicer people who checked we had everything but left us to our own devices. Perfect for the wedding with the church, reception venue and friends house all being under 10 min walk. Would definitely consider again in the future.

Heaven!
This turned out to be the best UK holiday we've had as a family. This house is the perfect base for exploring the area, there is so much to see and do. The host should give lessons on how to be a great host! She made us feel so welcome and we had everything we needed. I we hadn't I feel super confident that she'd have sorted it out for us. We were sad to leave! Thanks for a great holiday!

Great to be back here
This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely cottage. Great to be so near the sea front. Also good to have a small garden for kids to run around in. All facilities provided. Near to an excellent fish and chip restaurant. We've also just discovered Earl's Coffee nearby - my best ever veggie breakfast (also great for kids and non-veggies). We hope to return again soon to this cottage.

The best family holiday stay we have had since our children came along.
As a family of 4 (2 boys, 4yrs and 1yr) this was not only the perfect location for closeby family days out, but a home from home stay. Katie goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible providing lovely cream teas on arrival, fresh coffee, milk and washing facilities (with two boys this was greatly appreciated). The cottage itself has everything you would need and a lovely secure garden. The cottage is a short walking distance to the peaceful beach of Budleigh. The town itself also has some beautiful quaint shops and a co-op for all supplies. It is also close to the sw coastal path, ideal for anyone interested in some breath taking walks or challenging runs!! We will certainly return here in years to come!! We were all very sad to leave and could easily have stayed another week.
