"If you’re looking for a basic room, shower and convenient to Kirkjufell this works. About a 10 min drive to the lot and has views of the mountain from our room. Very quiet and basic accommodation. "

"This cottage is located in a beautiful spot of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, right on the beach looking over the Bjerdha Fjord. It is close to Grundarfjörður town, which has grocery stores and restaurants, but at the same time it is isolated enough that we could see an amazing Northern lights spectacle late at night! The glass walls on 2 sides of the cabin allow even to observe the lights from inside (there are all blocking blinds/curtains when you want privacy, no worries!). The bathroom could use a bit more shelving space, and the kitchenette is really small, with a very tiny fridge. But the view of the sunset on the shore, the amazing starry sky at night (in September) and the sheer quietness of this place made up amply for these little shortcomings. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous. There is no sidewalk from parking so it may be difficult to drag your luggage and on top of that there were steps to go to our room. It was no big deal for me but I just want to provide this information. The dinner menu was good and the breakfast was amazing. "

"10 min from town and the Kirkjufell. Would advise to have a car of course. We liked our room as it was very spacious and had a private kitchen/dining area including stove, oven, microwave and tea/coffee. Check in was simple and information is provided prior to arrival. It was a clean space with comfortable twin beds. "

"Beautiful property and area! We laid on the beach beyond the church and watched the northern lights dance! The seals were in the bay playing in the morning and the sheep came through the land as well. Gorgeous area and very peaceful"
