Our spacious and contemporary log cabins have been a true labour of love. Designed by us specifically to suit families, couples and groups of friends, our three log cabins have a modern Scandinavian feel with open plan living areas incorporating a comfortable seating area, dining table and well-equipped kitchen.

The toasty log burner ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere as you walk in the door and the generous bedrooms have super-comfy beds to help you get a fantastic night sleep after a long day exploring the nearby beaches and coastline. Professionally laundered bedding provides that extra touch of luxury and WiFi is free of charge and reliable through the property so you won't miss anything while you're away!

A short 5 minute drive will take you to the sandy beaches of the North Cornwall coastline, however there's no need to go anywhere to experience beautiful views of the stunning Cornish countryside. The log cabin is situated in a gated courtyard with outdoor seating, BBQs and fabulous views to enjoy. A small area of field is also available for outdoor games so you won't be lost for things to do if you fancy spending a day close to home!

If you like to eat in, the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, electric hob and dishwasher so there's no need to argue over who's doing the washing up! For those treat nights where you want to eat out, there is an abundance of local restaurants including great pub food, Chinese, Indian, Italian and many seafood eateries taking advantage of our proximity to the Atlantic ocean. Local takeaways include fish and chips, pizza and Chinese. Local supermarkets within 5 minutes include Co-Op and Spar, with Morrisons and Lidl just 10 minutes away.

Local beaches, surfing, golf course, tennis, mini golf, horse-riding and fishing will help you to create lots of memories to take home with you and there is a fantastic choice of activities for kids such as soft play for the younger ones and even a nearby theme park for the kids to look forward to! Tamar Lakes is approximately 1 mile away and offers water sports and enjoyable walks. For a more laid back holiday, meandering along the South West coast path or visiting beautiful country houses and National Trust sites at any time of the year will provide a truly relaxing break. When you're ready to put your feet up, our generous sofas will help you wind down and either take advantage of the TV and DVD player or play a good old fashioned board game!

Parking is free on site, just let us know if you plan to bring more than one car.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning are all provided at no extra charge.

Nice accommodation with cow visits :-)
We really enjoyed our family holiday at summerleaze lodge. The kids enjoyed it too - especially the green play yard. Unfortunately this is a little away from the lodge. So one adult has to go with them every time. Every evening and morning there were visits of the cows at the pasture nearby which was a great experience.

Lovely little cottage!
Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at this cabin- we felt so settled in straight away- the bed was super comfy. The kitchen was easy to use as well. I definitely recommend this place for couples, girls weekend away, families.

Perfect!
The property was clean, comfortable, nicely designed and well-equipped. We particularly loved the view across the fields at the back and watching the cows and their calves walking past the window. The owners were most welcoming and accommodating so it would be hard to fault them or the property in any way. We were only sorry that due to the cloudy weather we were unable to take up the owners' kind invitation to stargaze with them and their impressive-looking telescope. Maybe next time!

Loved the location and views. Was very comfortable living. The only suggestion we would have is to
Have some external lighting both in the court yard and round the gate area. Was very dark in the evening when we came back and had to use our phones to shed some light as various obstacles on the way to our cabin. Also we did think that a 10 am departure from the cabin was a little too early as most places we have stayed departure time has been round 11. Would certainly recommend to friends if they were heading off down there.

Comfortable, airy lodge
Very nice lodge on the North Cornwall / Devon border. We received a warm welcome from the owner who showed us around, and he then left us to enjoy the free cream tea. The lodge is in a group of three and each have their own outside space with picnic table. Inside, the lodges were well equipped and nicely furnished, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern. We enjoyed getting the log burner going in the evening, but there are efficient electric heaters instead or to top up . The lodge was within half an hour of many local places/attractions - Boscastle, Tintagel, Bude, Dartington Glass, Clovelly. We very much enjoyed our weekend away and would stay here again.

Wonderful stay
We had two wonderful weeks at Eddington Lodge. The cabin is modern and very nicely arranged. We felt at home immediately. Jonathan and Hannah were great hosts and provided us with home-made cream tea when we arrived (it was no problem that we were a bit early). The driving directions we were given were a bit complicated, but Eddington Lodge is actually very easy to find from Kilkhampton.

A very relaxing stay
We spent a week in this property and it was a very relaxing stay!!! The owners John & Hannah were there to greet is on arrival and were both very welcoming!! Furthermore, we had a very tasty cream tea waiting for us in our cabin!! The cabin was very clean and comfortable throughout. The kitchen had all the essentials needed and we had access to an outdoor BBQ with all the necessary equipment needed!! The cabin is ideally located as Sandymouth beach is a very short drive away and well worth a visit!! Widemouth bay is a little further on, but is also well worth a visit!!

Very nice - great location
We stayed in this cottage for 3 nights during our summer visit to the UK. We found the cottage very clean and well equipped. We were welcomed by the owners with a Cream Tea basket that was wonderful. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with lot's to see and do. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and our stay. If ever in the area again, we would stay here again.

Quaint
A bit of a tricky location but the directions given were very useful. Lovely clean cabins and a cream tea on arrival which was a lovely surprise. One small accident with some furniture was easily dealt with and overall a fab place to stay close to several beaches and central for our north Cornwall and north Devon trip.

Fantastic, Warm, Comfortable and Spacious!
We had a wonderful half term in this lovely holiday cottage. It's very peaceful and quiet, but only a 10 minute drive into Bude, with beautiful beaches and lots to do for everyone. The cottage is very warm and cosy and spotlessly clean, plenty of space for clothes and exceptionally comfortable beds! Plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils and perfect space for a family of four to sit and eat at the table, it also has a dishwasher which made eating in hassle free. Towels and linen were soft and luxurious and the log burner was a treat on a cold morning! They also have a DVD player and several DVDs in the cottage, as well as monopoly and scrabble. The cream tea provided on arrival is a really nice touch. Good restaurants in Bude and only a 50 minute drive to Padstow, which is worth the journey. Run by a lovely couple who are friendly and helpful and have done a really great job of making it a fabulous place, if you're lucky you may get to do a bit of star-gazing through their incredible telescopes at night! A real find that I would highly recommend to friends and family, we can't wait to go back!
