Excellent! Looking for somewhere that provides a relaxed spacious ambience for families of 10 during half term breaks is hard and this 600 year old Farmhouse perfectly met our needs. Very comfortable, clean and warm. We loved the Aga, for cooking too and wood burner in evenings. Easy access to beaches, coastal towns/villages as well as good walking terrain on/off road for our high energy young people & grandchildren. Need to be reasonably fit for walking activities, could present mobility issues for pushchairs or disability. Excellent hosts.
The property was perfect. There were ten of us altogether with ages ranging from 8 to 43. The property is secluded and I felt safe for the kids to run around and the garden has ample space for them and the dogs to play.
Being in two familys the property had so much space to have space from each other. For example, there are two living rooms so the kids spent time in their own space while us Adults could relax in the other room. There are so many rooms it felt like a rabbit warren.
The kitchen is fully equipped and we fed our tribe with no issues. Beds are extremely comfortable with lovely clean bedding on arrival.
The spot was a great base to get all over Cornwall. Most places were an hour and a half away at most with Bude being a short drive down the road. There is a big Sainsburys in Bude if you want a big shop.
Overall, we could not believe what a gem of a house we had chosen. It was well worth the money paid and we'd be happy to visit again one day.

Family Holiday
Lovely family holiday.
Rural location, clean and well presented, crisp fresh linen and towels..
Larger bedrooms & on-suites. Low doorframe to stairs and one bedroom resulted in few sore heads. Good selection of kitchen utensils, no microwave.
Large garden, bbq and tables. Care needed to be taken when children in the garden due to nettles, brambles and thorns.
Just back home after a week away with husband, three daughters, sister and two dogs and WANT TO GO BACK!! The farmhouse is in an ideal spot, really tucked away and so peaceful. Lovely, clean and well-equipped property and so much space! Not having a downstairs toilet was the only teeny weeny downside, but to be honest, going up a small flight of stairs for that purpose really wasn’t too much of an issue in the end and the extra steps recorded in my health app is a bonus! Thank you Becky & Jacob
Good communication with owners. Lovely clean property. Perfect house for our extended family. Great location for exploring the beautiful North Cornish coast.
The house was lovely - definitely perfect for fitter, outdoorsy people like us. Walks to nearest beach, pub & cafes were not for people less used to walking as very steep. Drivable though.
We enjoyed our time at the cottage so much. It was spacious yet very homely. It had every appliance big and small that we would need during the week. Highly recommended, we hope to visit again.
A perfect house for two families in a beautiful area with easy access to amazing beaches. Loved every minute of our stay and would stay there again. Really comfortable beds and the en-suite bathrooms were a treat. Large family friendly kitchen- we loved the aga!
Many thanks.
Good old fashioned holiday with Grandma and Grandad
Well looked after accommodation, secluded bedroom for Grandparents to escape from everyone, quiet private garden and very near Cracklington Haven beach, ideal for body boarding, sandcastles and rock pooling. Fantastic ice cream too.
Walk or drive to the beach, look at views and enjoy the countryside. Comfy beds, warm large kitchen, playroom with toys and grown-ups lounge. perfect.

Perfect place for a large family holiday
We stayed here in August 2015 and it was a fab holiday. We were a large family group consisting of 8 adults and 2 under 2s. The farmhouse itself is amazing, plenty of room and the most comfy beds EVER! The aga is a lovely feature that my mother loved so much she has decided she wants one. The owners were fantastic and were very accommodating as my car broke down the day before we were due to leave and we had to wait for a rental. This meant that we stayed past the check time but the owner was very understanding and cleaned around us whilst we waited! Great area to stay in, with a steep but fun walk down to crackington haven which I think we did about every other day. Plenty to do within driving distance and over all a fantastic place to stay. Would definitely recommend it :-)

A lovely old house in a great location
We stayed here for a week with several adults and Grandchildren in April. The house was perfect for a large family stay; it was warm and cosy with an Aga in the kitchen and log burning stoves in the other downstairs rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, very clean, and cooking on the Aga was a joy.
The location is fantastic for walks, with the North Cornwall coastal path very close by. You can also walk to Crackington Haven beach from the house, it takes about 20 minutes down quite a steep path, but all the children managed it easily, and it is a perfect beach for children with rock pools and sand.
Hosts Becky and Jake couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and made us all feel very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this house and it's location.
