Horrible to say the least. No staff on site to help us out. Very poor communication because of that, we cannot get the key into our room on the first day for hrs. Didn’t get actual key for room til 2d day. Explanation: Owner demanded we install Whatsapp on our phone before we could get in, but we refused because the app is insecure. Owner also failed to provide phone number for questions, and though Expedia later gave us his number, when we did get hold of owner he refused to help us get into the apartment unless we first installed whatsapp on our phone. For hours we tried to find a way in. Finally, an attendant at the site helped us get in using a master swipe card. This is a very complex place to get into, requiring a fob, two codes, and a swipe card, so without the owners help, it’s a miracle we got in. Finally the second day we got everything we needed, but considered terminating our stay. The communication was so terrible we knew if we needed anything, any help, the owner would not help us.
If WhatsApp was a condition of rental, this should have been stated up front. You can’t get all the rental and then start imposing conditions on your tenants.
