Nice hotel
What I really enjoyed about this hotel is the design, it's location and the fact that it is completely new. It's located in a historical building few minutes walk from the Roosevelt Square and the neighborough is full of great restaurants and bars. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Free fast wifi which is a real plus. There is a nice small spa (jakuzi and sauna) but did not have time to try it out. On the negative side, there was no room service so you cannot order drinks or food to your room. They do have a nice bar in the lobby though. Also - there was an espresso machine in the room which I was very happy about until I learnt that it did not work. Hopefully that was an exception. I did not try to replace it as had no time. Overall, I guess it depends on the rate as often for the same rate I stayed there for, you can get one of the 5-star hotels which I would suggest to do. But specifically this week, the rate was worth it and I was happy about my decision.

Good Location!
Great location, right around the corner from St Stephens Basilica. Rooms are spacious with very comfy beds. The wellness centre is nice. I would recommend buying a return minibus transfer when you are at the airport because it is quite cheap and it saves alot of time. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it to all types of travellers.

Center of all!
Great location and friendly helpful hotel. Only minus was some maintenance issues and no hot water on last day of our stay. Other than that the hotel was great. Clean, modern and walking distance to many sights and outdoor restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Will only stay at Ulta Moda Fashion Hotel
The hotel, staff and rooms were beyond wonderful. Massive, modern yet charmingly decorated rooms. The beds were massive and oh so comfortable! The hotel is extremely well kept. The wellness spa with steam rooms, jaccuzi and lounge were just what I needed to get the kinks out of my travel sore muscles. Located next to the Chain Bridge in the 5th district of Pest, it was a very easy walk to the Danube River, its flanking trolley car and subways. In fact, the area was so ideal that we only used public transportation from and to the airport. The cities best restaurants and draws were within walking distance. Ulta Moda was located on a quiet street just a half street away from the bustle and nightlife of Pest. Hotel staff were always friendly and extremely helpful. One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay in. I will not stay anywhere else when visiting Budapest.

Lovely newly built hotel. Staff were all very friendly. The porter took our bags to the room and then to the taxi when we left expecting a tip at all times. Wifi worked in the reception area of the hotel, but not in our room and we were only on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Due to it being a newly built hotel, those who are scared of the dark - be warned. The lights in all areas of the hotel work on a light sensor. The spa facilities were amazing, with quite a large jacuzzi. Very close to the river, quite close to the Parliament building, but good walking shoes are advised.

Stay Here!
First of all, the hotel itself is great. Good and consistent service at the desk, immaculate lobby, very clean rooms with a lot of space. The beds were very comfortable, as well. Second, you could not be in a better location in this amazing city. Right around the corner is St. Stevens cathedral in one direction and Parliament in the other. From here, we walked to Ruda Baths, the palace, the great Market and another smaller market, the Opera and everything else. Well worth the money. One thing, the breakfast was a little pricey, but there are two great breakfast cafes right around the corner on the street leading to the cathedral.

Hotel was very cute with a great location. I was with in a group of 3 singles & the room had 3 twin beds which was perfect. I could walk to most attractions. The beds were comfortable & the robes were a great addition to my stay. Overall I really enjoyed my stay & got to see some models at the hotel too.

Was there with my husband and my sister for vacation. Hotels.com didn't give me an option to add a roll away bed in the room when I made the reservation, so upon arrival, I asked the reception for one, they were very accommodating, they let us check in early, check out late, and gave us an extra bed for my sister. It's a nice hotel, and you really get a deal with hotels.com. Rooms are nice and clean, only thing is that their house keeping is not on site, at midnight I accidentally broke a glass and no one can come to vacuum it up. I had to put a towel over the area and wait until the morning. oh and there's no gym on site either. nice spa though below the reception area, they kept it clean. We didn't eat there, not sure about the quality of their food. But the bartenders are awesome, and there are tons of restaurant near by just walking distance.

BOOK THIS HOTEL
To me, this hotel was amazing. It is BRAND NEW and even has that "new car smell" when you walk through the halls. The entry way is gorgeous as is the lobby. The staff is young but very helpful and the rooms were stylish and linens were wonderful. Free wifi and a complimentary business center. No nickel and diming you to get online. Bonus points for an amazing Pest location--you are a block or two from the Chain Bridge, St Stephen's Basilica, a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beginning of Vaci Utca for shopping (albeit touristy), the main square for picking up any of the tour buses and Deac Ter (the main metro), plus literally around the corner is a nightclub, and Parliament is a short walk to your right. Thank GOD I booked this hotel as its centrality was key to getting up and about and seeing Budapest on my short time there. I switched to Novotel to take advantage of a Parliament/ Danube river view from my room on my last night and was sorely missing the luxe accomodations and centrality of Alta Moda. Would absolutely book this hotel upon a return visit. Very satisfied!!!

A "NEW" GEM IN BUDAPEST
Great Hotel, Service and Location. It is pretty much right around the corner from St Stephen's Basilica and about as central as you can get on the "Pest" side of town.(unless of course you stay at the Four Seasons). The Rooms were trendy and spacious just like the rest of the hotel, however the room cleaning service was maybe not the best. There is a 24 hours grocery store just on the next block so you won't need to eat breakfast at the hotel unless of course it's included. Our breakfast was not included when we were there and it was 15 euro's per person, so we opted for the grocery store or one of the many cafe's right next to the Hotel. With all that being said, I highly recommend this Hotel!!!

I was very pleased. As someone who travels internationally on a regular basis, I can tell you it can be tough to find a good hotel at a reasonable rate in many countries. This hotel was clean, aesthetically pleasing, great service, comfortable rooms with nice bathroom and so on. The spa is very nice with hot tub, sauna and steam.

Alta Moda hotel in budapest
We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was really friendly and all seemed to have English. Its location is wonderful - just round the corner from St Steven's Basilica with lots of restaurants and cafes. It was very close to The Chain Bridge - so very convenient for visiting Buda. The area felt very safe.

Reviewers on TripAdvisor had commented that since this is a newly-opened hotel, there were lots of little issues still being worked out -- this was certainly true, but nothing major that made our stay awful. Aside from the 4-star rating, location of the hotel and nice package price with our flight, we also wanted free wireless - which the Alta Moda has. sort of. The connection was terrible throughout our stay and I only discovered near the end that I could stay connected for longer than 10 minutes when my laptop was near the bathroom / hallway. Negatives: the elevator made scary noises, the cheap bathrobes left white fuzz all over everything, the metal toilet paper holder fell off the wall .. the shoddy wireless. Positives: great location, the room was very spacious, very clean and nicely decorated, quiet, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful (calling taxis, storing bags, etc.). Even with the minor negatives, I would stay here again - especially if the wireless coverage is improved.

Gorgeous, comfortable, convenient and chic
I found this hotel online before my trip and thought I'd try it. Never having been to Budapest before, I had to ask some friends who had about the location. It is so convenient to everything, and on a beautifully quiet side street. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Chain Bridge and the Danube, and not much farther to anything else you might like to see. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, and I felt quite pampered honestly. I'm hesitant to recommend it...because I want to keep the secret all to myself!!! If you visit Budapest, I would highly recommend this hotel.

New hotel - some services not yet in place
This was a brand new hotel, opened only three weeks before we stayed there. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was expenseive, but a great spread! Rooms were sparkling clean with ultramodern decor in black and white. Enjoyed the lovely Expresso/Cappochino makers in the room once I learned how to use them. Being a new facility, however, some items were not yet in place. We did not have telephone service in the room, nor the wireless internet that was supposed to be available.

A Work in Progress, but a Great Stay
We booked a suite and were downgraded to a normal room. Other than this, the room and hotel were great. The spa and sauna area is yet to be constructed but everything else is in working order.
