"It was great over all but you have to have a rental car. Basic but very good. Have the most beautiful beach on the island near by- Deep Bay Beach. There is a guy there on the beach that cooks you a fish that he just caught in the ocean. Also, there is a nice short but challenging track to Fort Barrington with a breathtaking view on the Bay. "

"One think is good to pay attention to prior arrival. Is access road is difficult you need 4x4 or brave driver. Air con just in one main bedroom which wasn't issue for me but if i wanted to use both bedrooms would be problematic. I was happy there by myself nice remote location."

However, this rental property is situated next to another, larger unit (with whom you share the pool) that has large outdoor living spaces and your experience depends to a great extent on whether (and if) someone is staying in that adjacent unit. "The property is very nicely maintained and the hosts made us feel welcome. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking. Although they share the property, we felt private and safe. Dickenson Beach is beautiful and a short 5 minutes drive. Groceries, fuel, and restaurants are close also. It was a really great vacation! Thanks so much"

"Our hosts were wonderful, the property was beautifully situated with an elevated view of Galleon Beach and English Harbor in a garden-like setting with bullfinches and banaquats friendly and interested. Just off of the property is a premier snorkeling beach, with nightlife on the beachfront. Within a couple of very short miles up the road is Shirley's Lookout, which has a great party with bar-b-que on Sundays and another great view of English Harbor, and just beyond an old 'block house' remants...

"We stayed a week (too short). Loved the unbeatable view of Galleon Bay from our deck with a sofa, comfy chair, diningroom table and chairs. The accomodations were attractive and comfortable. "Always love staying on moondance, we love the rustic artistic Caribbean charm of the place, great chairs and cool box for the beach, everything works and the beds are sooo comfy… looked after by the very lovely fiona tucked away in a corner of galleon beach … the only slight niggle is the Ibiza style loose cannon…whilst the staff and food are ace if I wanted Ibiza music I’d go to Ibiza.. hopefully they’ll mix it up a bit in the future "

"Although initially not impressed as the location was rather smaller than viewed on the web we then realised that although the property was dated it was clean and comfortable. "From start to finish this has been an excellent choice and with the car hire we went all over the island. Beautiful villa with everything you need. A stunning pool area which we used most days. Simone was really kind and helped us on our last day even letting us use her home to shower before the airport.
