"This is one of the few rentals on VRBO that allows events, and it was perfect for our elopement. We were married on the dock, roasted smores by fire pit, and enjoyed the quiet nights away from civilization. Other perks: the bathroom vanity and heated bathroom, tall mirrored closet in master bedroom that was high enough to hang the wedding dress without it touching the floor, large windows in the family room to view the lake, and fully equipped kitchen. "Everything was lovely. I missed the part about the outdoor shower & bathroom so that's on me. If indoor bathroom accommodations are your thing then maybe I wouldn't recommend this VRBO but everything else being wonderful - to include great communication with the host - made it a fun and memorable weekend. No regrets!"

"We love the Koi Story Cabin. We were there for the Cyclone Bomb this year. No electricity for 4 days. The staff was amazing! They had us hooked up to a generator and the fire place kept us warm! We communicated with Elena, Ian and Sergei. They were so helpful and worked with our schedule. A delightful place to stay!"

"The cabin was fantastic. Not only was the decor, beautiful, but it was spacious and equipped with everything you need. So sweet to have a few snacks available and coffee.
