"The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all. "We had a great time on our recent trip to Berkshires. It was due largely in part because of some excellent and charming accomodations at Jeff's family farmhouse. Our large group loved the farmhouse's layout, old world charm and beautiful property."

"Everyone enjoyed staying here, there were lots of smiles but there were come concerns about the number of lady bugs in the bedrooms. It must have been their time to swarm, as there were a few in many of the rooms, presumably because some of the windows don't close tightly. Again, everyone had a fine time, and the location and the 2 or 3 block walk to town was perfect. It was charming and comfy and the many bedrooms were great. "

The home is very clean, well stocked, the layout is very good and the communication with the host is also very good. We love the brook going by. It is close to Smith College where our daughter goes to school. We also enjoy the many other places and things to do in this area. Even after our daughter graduates I can see us coming back to this home and part of Massachusetts. "
